Don't use steel wool on aluminum. Bits of it break off and embed in the aluminum, and will eventually rust.

My golf addicted, 3 year old toddler, recently took 3 of my golf clubs and started to swing them against our concrete driveway. As a result, the chrome heads were severely scratched. My club fitter/repairer said they cant save them. I then searched and found your video and followed your instructions to the dot, finally finished up with Autosol Chrome polish. The results were excellent, 95% back to the condition before my kid got hold of them, the Chrome finish is dulled, but extremely smooth and most importantly very playable. Thank you for your video.

It seems better to use liquid compound of 3000 grit then 6000grit. 9000 will make it mirror polish.

you did make a lot of more very small scratches which is by mechanical engineering is very harmful for metal and for other metal which produced iron dust which create a lot of resistance due to iron dust
