I actually thought keke palmer was great In this show. She had awful lines but I think she was able to sell it and bring an almost loveable side to a horribly written character

Seriously, couldn't agree more! This ruined all the chances for getting more of season 1 and 2 which, in my opinion, were fantastic!!!

i used to hate it when it first came out but after a couple rewatches it grew on me. i still hate Liv, the killer reveals, and some of the dumb decisions and dialogue, but the kills are solid and of course the biggest thing going for it is Roger L. Jackson as Ghostface again.

It’s bad. The acting is just awful. The script especially for the killer doesn’t feel Ghostface at all. “Deadfast club” 🤢 the way they talk about Ghostface using his name in such an explicit way, very cringe whereas in the movies when Kirby says “ghostface” it weirdly isn’t cringe. Kiki Palmer is a good actress she was so good in Scream Queens but…here..nooope. Politics especially Feminism is in the movies but Kevin Williamson wrote it really well and it melded into the story so it didn’t stick out, Sidney is incredible, but the show is extremely surface level terrible. “Slash is in session.” Holy fuck. It’s cringe. It’s sad most fans had trust that this season would be pretty good, so did I.

They refer to "Ghostface" a lot in Scream 4.

I feel like this was my favorite season. With less episodes I feel like they got more to the point. And the twists were actually really good at least to me.

While the show was bad i dont think the acting was terrible from certain characters. Like keke palmer did good and I like the character of beth.

I will say that when I first saw it, I didn’t care for it- because I wanted to continue the story that season had left off with the Brandon James story. I did rewatch it the other week, and I didn’t mind it. I will say I actually we did like the opening of the first episode, they got me with Paris Jackson- I thought she was going to be the opening kill, and I also liked how they sorta tried to give their own origin to the costume- and it made sense that this killer wore the Scream costume because that’s what his brother had one when he died (and yes I know in the finale the twins switched roles). And I agree they say Ghostface way too much.

Going back re-watching the franchise including Season 3, I will put this over Scream 3 with ease. 3 was pure comedy to me and that's the only Scream content I'll skip over lol. Season 3 is bad, but it's not Scream 3 bad to me thanks to Beth and the horror aspect and the phone calls. Season 3 did have some interesting things and creative kills like the 1st 2 seasons. Tyler Posey's character was good. Tony Todd was. But the main cast besides Beth I wasn't that invested in at all. The kills in this season, was still better than most of the movies. The Amir death was like holy shit. Beth is one of my Scream characters and I would say she's right under Noah for me. She just has the look, great monologues and was dark. I wish more Scream characters was like Beth honestly. Luckily she was never shot in the head.

The lecture part didn't irritate me, but it made me cringe so hard... it didn't feel natural... it felt out of place and broke the immersion (if it had any). There are so many other ways to criticize something, like Tatum in Scream 1996 saying that the killer could be a female, or even the suffering Audrey went through in her life - because she was LGBT - which indirectly caused the Lakewood murders

This season was like scream 3 for me. I put it off because I thought it was going to be absolute garbage. And then I watched it and because I had low expectations it was great.

For me Beth is the worst reveal in Scream history. They talk about stereotypes and then basically confirm them with her as a killer, I figured having her as the new final girl would have been more interesting and different if they ever thought of moving the show forward. Granted this wont happen based on the rumors'.

Pretty good video, I agree about how off putting this season. I hope the Lakewood story returns and concludes. On a unrelated note, your voice sort of sounded like Noah when you said "I will tolerate it."

They dropped the ball changing the storyline.

It really wasn’t pretty interesting. It would’ve been better if the story was longer but I enjoyed it, they brought the Ghostface mask and ditched the Brandon James and Roger L Jackson came in to due the voice which shows it deserves its credit

Beth was the only good thing about that show. She WAS the best character, best story and best script. Thanks to G.W for being such a great actress. Everything else was pure garbage.

I think people really overstated how “garbage” this season was… sure it was a lot more cheesy & over the top than Seasons 1 & 2. But that jus made it feel like a 80’s b- slasher movie IMO… seasons 1 & 2 weren’t even that great except for Brooke’s character. And despite its problems, Season 3 had the best killer reveal out of all the seasons easily.

I liked Beth. The story could have been a lot better. The Lakewood story has nothing to do with Ghostface through. Not sure why Beth kept going 'haha I'm white' which was a load of nonsense. The kills were decent. The political stuff were pointless drivel.

I'm probably gonna get alot of hate but I like it better than season 1 & 2 Beth was my favorite and I thought her character was the best out of everyone in the tv series, I liked that they got the original mask back also.

Like all shows in the last couple years it had more of a political agenda than a story

So tatum says ghostface in the original and it’s not said again till the third movie and then it’s still a scarce word

For this season I wanted them to refer to the killer as Father Death or something since it’s really heavy on the fact it’s a generic costume

I thought scream 6 was bad, but at least I watched it through. As for Scream season 3 I gave up after the first episode.

I'm watching this season now (Netflix) and its okay for what it is. I wish we had gotten another season with Brooke and her bitches, but it wasn't in the cards. The story is a little off and the whole thing felt like they just rushed it out to get it out, but I'm okay with it. Ill give it 3.5 /5 stars. The male killer should've been Marcus and not Jay, and I love me some Beth. Keke is good in everything she does

Jeez, it wasn't perfect, but imo it was miles better than the lame teenage drama shitshow that was the Brandon James seasons. Way better kills, better pacing, better overall story, and OG Ghostface back.

An I only 1 to appreciate the anthology for what it was edited: 8:55 as for taking off their masks, i don't think they did at that point, it just tell us the viewer who killed who in their own monologue. cus looking back at episode 1, i swear everyone looked up and killer was gone

Mtv scream at least tried to be original and made the most with what they had, not to mention Wes Cravens approval himself and a great story... Resurrection was rushed and put together so lazily. I liked characters like Beth and Amir but could never get attached or invested cause it was only 6 episodes. Good attempt but I think we'd all prefer the brandon James storyline

mtv cancelled season 3 due to the "me too" movement and didnt want anything to do with the weinsteins since they helped produce it. i refuse to call this a season 3. its not its more of a shitty reboot. but mtv is bringing it back so hopefully we get real closure bc its been 5+ years and im still upset about not knowing if eli survived at the end of the halloween special

Season 1&2 were good but I feel season 3 was actually better. The storyline was well done as well. It shocked me. Season 2 left us all on a cliffhanger and left us wondering. We never got closure.

The only thing that I was only happy about just because the mask is back but idk the act was ass but the kills were cool

It was garbage and by far the worst thing in this franchise. The writers got way too far up their own a@@ with agendas and politics. Having white guys wearing a confederate hat and chasing down the black chick was so cringey. It feels like a New Yorker or someone from CA that has never been to the south wrote this s@@@. I had to fast forward through episodes 5 and 6. I will never watch this again and i'm glad that it bombed because it deserved it.

I couldnt stand beth lol but i liked season 3 but i think i bias i like scream so much that as long as its scream and a who done it movie ill like it i did love that they had the original costume and voice i hated yhat in the first two seasons . Now i didnt go into this show with any outside influence i never had herd it was terrible or had looked at any reviews before i watched and I think that helped me like it more now its definitely my least fave scream franchise but I definitely didn’t hate it idk i dont nitpick movies and shows much i dont view as a critic I definitely in movies have it in my head that its a movie bot real it doesnt have to be realistic and when it comes to the politics and or lectures idc its fake opinions and whatnot so im like owell maybe dumb but it doesnt bother me at all. The thing i liked least about it is that i thought it was very predictable

I couldn't agree more but, admittedly, I did enjoy this season more on a rewatch but it still wasn't great. It was a super major step down from the first 2 seasons & the politics bothered me too, I hate when ANY type of slasher thing that's supposed to be fun just throws shit like that in here & there just because. It just really puts a damper on it. That's how I felt watching the new Candyman too like, it wasn't terrible but I just feel like the message they were getting at did NOT come across well at ALLLLL

It is fun and has that comedy scream films have, I enjoyed it, I will call trash I know what you did last summer tv series 🤮🤮🤮
