Hello Screen Troopers! This is a very special video. I made this video about 1 year ago and totally forgot about it until I saw it in my editing folder without any work done so I investigated and was happily surprised. This was made with my older cameras so there is some focusing issues and the audio is not as good as it is now. But the tutorial video is an important one for manual textile screenprinting. Therefore, I decided to upload it to buy me some more time as I make a few new videos. So, if you have ever wondered how much squeegee pressure is too much then this video is a must see. I briefly discuss how you know when you’re using too much squeegee press and what it can do to your printing. I hope the video quality is not too bad and forgive me for the delayed intro as I seemed to have left a little too much footage on the front end. Always good information! Thanks for posting. What's you opinion on pushing a squeegee? I've grown more accustom to pushing. I like the idea that it puts less strain on my joints.

Thank you! I agree. That's how I do it. I pull flood and push print. Way easier on the body in so many ways and transfers force to the screen much better. As a result it's easier to use too much pressure with a push print stroke but not something you cannot manage. Thanks for watching! Great info. By the way, I made a replica of the ergo squeegee using glass fiber and it worked well. I can now print all day long with ease. 😀😀

You're welcome. That's what the close up shots of the squeegee bending and flexing were supposed to do. In the first shot I show what bending looks like and in the second I demonstrated what flexing would be like. I thought that was better emphasizing on the squeegee alone. But maybe not ;) LOL...
