It's a pity Jessica Jones is earthbound, because the best team-up for her is easily Guardians of the Galaxy. There's a nice mix of optimism and pessimism there, but they're all a bunch of assholes. Jess and Rocket playing off of each other would be particularly great.

I would like to see Hawkeye with the Agents of Shield. He would fit better with the lighter tone of the show compared to Netflix, so I'd rather see him help Daisy take command with Inhumans, and I think he'd fit so much better. I'd think Black Widow and Jessica Jones would work. Not just cause it's a super powered female duo, I think Black widow could sort of mentor Jessica and teach her how sort out Black and white. It'd be really interesting and could work as a more mystery series, using more spy or detective stuff. But I'd also love to see a Defenders movie, I think Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Like Cage would translate well to film, and if they toned down the blood a little bit, it'd be on the same level as avengers, and possibly with even more interesting character.

+Musicnote328 no way could black widow help anyone sort black and white - she is all grey areas. hawkeye would make AOS a bit better and maybe give him a bit of time as top dog (if daisy doesn't use her powers too much!) so yeah. i prefer the idea of a defenders series - when i first heard about suicide squad, i thought it was a series and thought that would work better than a movie. the problem is movie have to be more self contained - handling a handful of characters can be a struggle and limits it to one big bad usually. a series could have multiple villains and treat each character fairly, which is only right as people will be used to following their favourite in a 13 ep series already. with avengers the ones without their own films get a rough deal in a sense. combining all the netflix folk into 2hrs could be the equivalent of trying to sound clash their individual theme tunes for the defenders main theme! :-)

+Gamma Beta Alpha GBA Debatable...I think they are about even. But it's a good debate, which is better? The best of the prequels or the worst of the originals? The only thing I really ever hear bad about Return of the Jedi is the Ewoks...and I don't think that's fair for disqualifying a film. Return of the Jedi has too many memorable moments to be a bad film. Jabba's palace, the whole climax in the emperor's throne roome, Darth Vader's redemption. Is it as good as Empire or New Hope? No...but it's a more than fitting conclusion to the trilogy. Revenge of the Sith is indeed a pretty great movie, but it still has parts that take me out of the moment. Some pretty awful written dialogue, Hayden's crappy acting, the Emperor's cartoonish makeup.

Like he said that scene alone trumps everything the prequel did. Every single fight in RotS is clearly cgi and terrible choreography! How is the jabba scene straight out of cartoon network? It looks better than any of the prequel scenes!

I mean, I know we've had two but Spider-Man has multiple, interesting origin stories. And, while we've had two SM origin stories, I'm bored of BMs dead parents storyline, because it's talked about and parodied too much.

Andy is consistently unfair to Mark Andreyko. He often makes great arguments and then Andy doesn't award him the round because he wants something else from him. I'm only into round 2 but once again, I thought Mark make a solid argument and Andy says it's not enough. Meanwhile, he awards the round to somebody who didn't make as strong an argument.

+Heath Hinton Marc was actually trying to make valid arguments initially but gave up about halfway when he realized it was futile. Most every Movie Fight he has been on his point is buried by a nonsensical judgement. But, to address your mention of politics, I can't stand political grandstanding and I didn't think his brief mention of politics was even that memorable let alone enough to "ruin" the episode.

I don't like how Dan gave Mike the point for "why its still referenced today" when Roger's rebuttal specifically countered that point with multi-pass being referenced just as much if not more. Felt like he had already made his decision and wasn't listening to the argument anymore.

Jessica Jones was so average to me. I mean I'm still going to watch every episode of the next season, but it was basically the same premise of Daredevil all over again. Badass whose origins will be shown slowly during the series a badass villain who well see eventually and will be their own down fall. The only real difference was Daredevil had a significant amount of realistic layers to it, Jessica Jones just Deus Ex Macarena a lot of stuff just to stretch the story out not to mention some annoying sub plots

You didn’t quote me correctly and for them being the same team that made them and planning on merging them together in the Defenders, they shouldn’t have made them so similar. Its producing the same story and if its going to be in the same universe then they should try to switch up the story more.

Shitty character? That’s debatable, but inconsistency in her powers? Absolutely. There was many moments where I shook my head at moments where she basically had no powers to times where she could throw a guy across the room. And just because luke cage is a secondary character doesn’t mean he can’t be stronger than her, which he is. For the most part tho I agree with you

Great episode. Always fun to have the hilarious Mike and Roger on (the two funniest guests). I like Marc as well, loved his "Hal needs to shave" joke. Big applause to Roger's Grape Ape suggestion. That was genius!

The latest movie fights have had the most boring topics ever. You need to stop calling yourselves screen junkies and call yourselves nerd junkies. every episode seems the same "marvel, marvel. marvel, star wars, star wars, star wars, indiana jones, marvel" it gets old really fast. Never once have i heard what is the greatest war movie? who is the greatest western actor? what is the greatest film noir movie? what is the greatest drama? what is the greatest epic?

i love movies so its fun hearing you guys debate i really enjoy this show, especially when I'm driving i like playing this show and driving and hearing all you argue hehehe... Marc A is hilarious and so is Mike. i love it when these guys are on. Demolition man was the better mover. but i also loved tango and cash and Over the top was great .

I was actually very excited to watch this episode. Mike Carlson is one of my favorite competitors. I really like Marc Andreyko, too. I find him to be one of the most intelligent competitors that appears on Movie Fights. I'm surprised he doesn't win more often. I feel like he comes up with more logical and intelligent arguments. And Roger Barr is always passionate and entertaining, as well. Three very solid Movie Fights competitors.

Screen Junkies you guys should make the episodes with the belt on the line like this. By doing this i feel like it ups the stakes and the true winner will be whoever has the best knowledge of movies coming into movie fights.
