@@DetailingandtheBeast Great videos pal. Just bought the new Titan TTB775VAC 1400W 20LTR - is the nozzle attachment size now 35mm or 32mm? Also would you know the correct filter for wet use that will fit this? Cheers

35mm. To use 32mm attachments you'll need the step reducer. I've heard from my subs that the wet and dry cartridge is NOT the same between older and newer models. Try a search on ebay to see if there is anything on there.

Great video thank you. I am collecting a Titan tomorrow for use on my boat and I had read of the issues around the hose. Like the look of the attachments you show so will order them as well. Have subscribed to see if you do any videos that may appeal to me😂. I also enjoy detailing my car so a win win😀

Thank you for uploading these videos. This along with the update 2 video has been great to help me convert this vac into a detail friendly vac! Just one question- you use the end of the original hose to allow you to use the longer hose. Will these be easy to remove and fit back onto the original hose? The reason I ask is because I would rather keep this hose for the car as the vac does get used in a shed so I don't want the outside of the hose to get dirfty etc for it to then be used in my/ someone's car. TIA

Yeah easy enough to swap. But... I'd just buy another original hose from Screwfix for the other activity. I've got one for the car (the longer modded one) and an old original one for general "garage" duties so not to contaminate one with the other.

Interesting, I have the non wet and dry Titan, and I have had no issues with the hose splitting at all. And its been used outside all year round. I wonder if the hose is a different material on the dry one.

I have the grey titan too for DIY jobs and has been used in the harshest dust and rubble situations. That hose seems softer to me and hasn't split. This one though on the 1400W silver one had so many splits.

Have you got any recommendations of how to get the Titan plastic vacuum to body end to swap it to the Numatic one? Struggling to find any lugs to separate it. I have the Titan TTB775VAC. Thanks!

If it's one of the newer ones, I'm sure I've heard of them bring twist on type connectors that are glued in place.

Hello! Do you use the titan to suck the chemicals and grass for the upholstery? What's the benefic to use a wet/dry vaccum insted off a injector/extractor dedicated tool? Thanks for the vídeo! 😉

Yes I do. It's a spray on by bottle and extract using the titan. Benefits over a dedicated machine, ... only one... cost. This is only like £50. No doubt that a proper wet vac will do a better / quicker job. But for me, this does a good enough job. 👍👍

@@DetailingandtheBeast i've seen the vídeo, and the results are fantastic! I've asked you this because i wan't to use the same logic you use, brush the upholstery with a brush, and extract with machine, but you are the first detailer that i see doing this. I've already use a extractor/injector, but in some spots the grass only was washed when i agited with a brush.

You should have left the numatic cuff on there. The numatic tools are a lot better quality and a lot more compatible with other tools. Just my thoughts

Roughly speaking, and it will depend on all the specs, but a 3kW generator will operate at around 2700W (3000W is its peak). The titans are around 1300W, so should run absolutely fine.

I bought above equipment , can not fit with my TITAN TTB774VAC 1300W 16LTR WET & DRY VACUUM 220-240 Can you advice me right fitting between them. Thanks

This video was using the older models (they were current at the time of making them). Everything was a 32mm fitment. The newer ones are (I believe) a 35mm fitment. So you will need a 35mm to 32mm reducer. These will be available from amazon or ebay. Something like this I think amzn.to/3yyRH3m

Only if you have a separate hose. If you use the same one you'll find dirt stuck in the hose comes out on the paintwork.

There are some links in the video description. Just be aware they are a good 18 months old now so some may not work, but ebay was where they went to.

Does this hose work on the smaller titans? Ordered the hose but seems to big for the crevice tool, can anyone help please.

Yes same hose for the smaller dark grey plastic barrelled Titan, the hose connectors are the same, I have both. It's a bit of a pig to twist on the new hose but they do fit.

Detailing and the Beast - DaveCHCI the bits that goes into the base of the Titan is the same, but the crevice tool one is different to the one in the video, the plastic keeps breaking when I’m trying to get it over.

@@pants2005 the one in the vid is the one from the stainless titan. The smaller grey titan has a straight connector rather than an angled one. But mine are all the same size. Bit of a pain on here as I cant show you in pics what I've got.

Hey, how do you remove the ends on the Normal hose? I just shredded my hands to pieces and lost about 3 years off my life to stress, please help.

Pull! But if you have a newer one I think they are glued and twist.

Aye its the newer one I guessed, ended soaking the ends in boiled water to soften the glue, guessing ill have to glue the hose in you reckon with a hot glue gun? Gave up for now haha

Yeah I havent had a newer one myself yet so only go by what people tell me, but yeah, that's exactly the approach that I would take.

The titan hoover is great but obviously the hose is poor. You would think they would upgrade this I would happily have paid another £5 or so to have a decent hose

@@DetailingandtheBeast I realise that but it's such h an integral part of the hoover. The kink in mine is so bad now it's a struggle to use it. I have bought a hose but the end doesn't fit into the titan I will have to try and pull off the end of the old one and make it fit the new one. Thanks

You need to push the hose onto the original fitting. Tight, but does work. 👍👍

Do not try the hose replacement on the 2022 version. Ask me how I know! Currently looking for glue strong enough for my new bodged connectors. Would not recommend 😂
