I remember to have read, that a lot of Jazz musicians really admire the music of Scriabin because it is so in tune with their style of music.

Yes, Chick Corea is a good example. Scriabin pioneered harmony like the mystic chord (which you can hear in this video when the there’s a big hit together and the guitar plays a high chord) which jazz musicians later independently discovered (they might call it a 13 chord). When our modern ears hear Scriabin, we can’t help but hear the resemblance towards jazz, even though this piece was written about a decade before jazz existed.

Love this! I'm currently working on some Scriabin/Prog metal fusion myself so I'm somewhat glad to see I'm not the only one. I've always stood by that Scriabin is like the Opeth of classical music. This also reminds me of some jazz fusion arrangements of the 5 preludes Op 74 by John Zorn, you can find them on the Naked City album _Grand Guignol_ along with some Lassus, Ives, Debussy and Messiaen - I highly recommend it!

Nice drum part. I like the tempo, too! It's interesting that this piece has always given me techno/EDM vibes mainly (I've also made an arrangement). Now I see the boundaries are thin, it works well in many styles.
