You are going to love it!! It is a HUGE Upgrade!! Steve really is killing it!!

Next year its going to be even better!! Been talking to Steve about his plans and man I am super excited too!! I tripped over this in a facebook group and figured hell 149 its worth a try, and yeah, I am digging it! The show creator is still not the fastest to get stuff setup, but he is working on some nice improvements... It's just Steve doing this LOL he writes the software and makes all the hardware LOL the shell is from his 3D printer! I am really impressed with what he has done so far!

I am trying to find some better screen recording software so I can do a video with the Show Creator app... I need to script out my finale still (slacker) and plan on recording starting that script so everyone can get an idea how it works...

I think that would be an awesome addition to your Crackle Cube videos. Makes a great resource for anyone looking into buying them 😁

Yeah, I have the happiness system too and it's been rock solid!! So far my testing with the DC24A has been SOLID as well! Steve is doing a great job on this for a one man shop! I tested the DMX Cube out some more tonight... still some bugs with my flame machines (reported) and scripting is a PITA with it but he has some ideas biased on the feedback so far so I am looking forward to seeing it progress!

@Den Fireworks yeah the program is okay. Once you have a long script it can me annoying when the firework you select is placed in the beginning. There are a few bugs to work out, but so far so good.

@@PTandPyrotechnics Yeah.. not all that polished yet but it does work.. just kinda clunky... from talking to him I think he has some good ideas though... and Steve has been really responsive to feedback. I do wish it was more than a one man team, it could save me some money on upgrading LOL

I will work on getting one together for the show creator and how it handles your stash and to script! Having a PITA time with the screen recording software I have though so need to find a better one...

I can ask Steve when I send him a note next about the DMX cube :) BUT he is a one man shop, not sure if he can do the link or not.. but honestly Pyro's helping Pyros my friend!! I had no clue this thing existed 6 or so months ago either and now I am just trying to spread the word!! Man my little cheap system can do SO MUCH now!! And when the DMX cube really hits it's going to be the cheapest most versatile DMX option I think too... Steve is doing awesome work!!

Yeah, I am in love with the system right now!! I am saving for a Mongoose... 3k for 144 cueus.... Instead this let me use all the cues I own already AND still script!! I can pause, bump to the next cue and just do a ton with it! Trying to get a better screen recorder so I can show putting a script together. $149 its an awesome product!!!

So you can run it offline (and I do run it offline a lot because you need to connect to the crackle cube wireless network to synch to it. BUT Your stash and the shows it does upload to their server, that way they are available from your PC and your phone/tablet etc... I am heavily invested in the cheap system too, but REALLY wanted to do a scripted show... This thing is great to let me do that!

Ah I see, I was wondering how it worked. I think the constant checking for script changes and trying to upload them when it's unable to is what's causing the app to crash. The program is great otherwise though and it even helps to organize a manually fired show since I can print everything out.

Oh if I had a cobra I wouldn't be looking at that system LOL BUT while I save for a Mongoose it will fill the nitch!

@@denfireworks for sure. I would choose the crackle cube second to Cobra cuz it does have some nice features and it really is affordable.

Not an Apple guy... BUT I think there was a bug Steve did an update for in the IOS version so make sure you update to the newest version.... In the crackle cube show creator is your Crackle Cube listed in the window as well? It SHOULD work just like the control deck though... So start the module in synch mode and keep it in sync mode.... Hit the button in the IPad screen and leave your finger pressed on the screen then release pairing mode on the Mod then let the button go on the Ipad.... I found it easier to do with a mouse VS my surface touch screen but that could just be me...

@denfireworks Thanks! I've tried on my Droid, an IPad, and my laptop. I haven't tried holding down the reset button as the same time as I pressed the cue button, so I'll try that. When I tried to pair with my laptop it was connected, and it showed my cube, but it still wouldn't make the connection. Its just weird how it pairs so easy with the controller, but it just won't pair though the cube.

LOVE The R12! I have a video on it I will link to another comment too... (2) 9v batteries instead and you can check the voltage, sequence fire, and more!! So I use the Happiness 4 cue and the Happiness R12's and have never had a problem with the "other matches" firing a poked cake.... The bilusocn should fire them all as well though?? Was it 9 shot NOABs that had a problem? Because some of them have an extra lift cup in the way of the powder so you need to poke them differently... Did the matches still pop for you? Or did the match not even go off? If so you might need to look at how you are poking the cakes... Do you hear the crunch of the black powder when you go in?

@@denfireworks they were pro cakes that had e-port to quick match. The igniter did pop on one but not the other. Most likely that was user error. But the popped cake still failed to ignite. The next show used FireWire no failure.

@@denfireworks I don't know how I missed this gem of a video! I swear I've watched all of your videos multiple times and have not seen this one till now. This is perfect as I picked up one for our upcoming celebration!!

I post these videos usually off the normal schedule so sometimes they get lost in the shuffle I think... and well I think sometimes KZfaq things I post to much any way and doesn't send out to many notifications LOL It's all good though I am just doing what I do!! That is WEIRD that the match port didn't light on a pro cake!!!! I have had fire not pass on like compound cake connecters (so now I put a little white fuse in them to make sure!!! But not on a port UNLESS... did you make sure the wire was wrapped tight around the strain relief? I have seen unsecured matches or ones that are to loose in the port shoot out when they are lit.. For the one that the match didn't go... that is just HARD!! The last pro demo I did I had a stack of bad MJG 12 bad matches in one night it was killing me!!!!

I have it working with db04s and dc24a's... I am not sure about the db24r though...I would email them and ask!

​@@ATOMpyroworksone will do you just fine! Right now i have 8 dc24a (10 is max due too the different frequency they use) 4 r12s and 36 r4s all working on my one cube with plenty of room to grow
