I always love that you use mostly scripture and doctrinal commentary. It helps to set the base of my understanding for the week. That’s why it’s always my beginning of the week listening. We don’t really “take out our endowments.“ We receive them. I put that phrase in the same category as “free agency.“ They’re misnomers and not actually used by any of the general authorities anymore. 🧡♥️

Just a note on the word Cherubim. We would call it plural but in Aramaic (the actual origin of the word which is ancient Syrian) it is dual or two cherubs. That's why there are two cherubs on the mercy seat and two on the veil. Other dual words can be seen in the Bible and throughout scriptures such as Urim and Thummim or two items used by the High Priest to make decisions (and translate things).

I have been ready these chapters and find that the measurements stated for the Ark of the Covenant and for the Mercy Seat with the Cheribum and the Crown atop, are not depicted correctly in the visuals that were shown. Jay, you are a talented artist. Couldn't you draw or paint a picture with the true dimensions? BTW I love your lessons. Thank you. 😊❤🙏🇦🇺🐨
