That shard on Axe was the real game changer I think. Removing the cooldown meant that suddenly he had sky high DPS thanks to the huge pile of zombies, PL illusions, etc.

I love how Pyrion will invariably begin shitting on the person who submitted the video a third of the way through, only to end the match absolutely exhilarated by an incredible display of scrubitude.

I always like to imagine Pyrion less like Dracula, and more like Mumm-Ra, the Ever Living. Except he's Pyrion, the Ever Malding. He spends most of his time as just old, salty Pyrion, not much of a bother to anyone... and then Joe comes along, speaks THE ANCIENT INCANTATION, and the Spirits of Competitive Bullshit give power to his old dad form to give rise to PYRION. THE EVER MALDING. Then he gets forced to shoutcast terrible DOTA2 games for our amusement with the only consolation is that he can generally drag some poor soul (Lewis or Joe, preferably, since they're the jerks that keep doing this to him, but sometimes poor Daf who likely doesn't deserve this but that's what makes it amusing) along to suffer with him. We can only hope this is the case, because gods only know what dark, twisted shenanigans PYRION, THE EVER MALDING would unleash upon the world if not sufficiently distracted before the spell runs out.

holy shit my heart was beating *so* hard by the end of that game, I thought for sure when the PA died top the game was over, but the absolute unit of an ace really clawed back that victory and it was so deserved!

Pretty sure Pyrion has it wrong about Frost Shield. It only reduces damage from attacks (right clicks), not ALL incoming damage, that would be literally the best spell in the whole game by a country mile.

You’re right. I would agree with pyrion if he were correct. In reality it’s a really good spell but not broken.

Classic board game style of spell description. Says attacks, but does it so nonchalantly that it's easy to just read the stat percentages and get zero details that it's only from "attacks."

Since it doesn't mention typing, I wonder if it affects on-hit bonus damage as part of an auto attack? If it doesn't reduce orbs, Valve should just say ATTACK DAMAGE REDUCTION instead for clarity

In League pro play, yes that is the final kill count. In lower Elo you can get 40 - 60 and the match takes an hour.

For the record, mid silencer with an early witchblade is sick nasty. You just cast your spells hit once and almost anyone is losing 50% of their hp to the dots.

Watching silencer not take the shard until he got given it at minute 47 is painful as a silencer player. Arguably the best item you can get on him

I will argue until I’m blue in the face that overwhelming blink on axe is just an awful pick up no matter what - why would you want an attack slow??? Arcane blink axe all the way!!

Its funny cause I remember Pyrion saying something about how Axe call wasn't instant being one of his biggest weaknesses. This is why I used to buy Arcane blink before the change, because it made the call instant. Naturally you get the bonus of spinning more often too because there's no attack slow.
