Just because you finally got the recognition you always wanted it doesn't mean you won't be jealous if someone new comes along. I mean if your girlfriend told you she loved you and suddenly starts flirting heavily with other guys you shouldn't be jealous either, should you?

drew was possibly the only reason why s09 was good at all. Turk was only good with duo with JD, Carla was gone, The Janitor was gone, Jordan was gone, Elliot was annoying and just there and Cox was turned from a raging tough-love doctor that deep down actually enjoyed teaching the interns, to just a mean drunk.

The reality is this needed to be a spin off instead of another season… with only emphasis on the young interns and Bob Kelso can be a key administrator at the University. Turk was incompatible without JD or Carla, Eliot and Jordan were gone… and Dr Cox is just a jerk without Carla and Jordan around to humanise him. Every character in the old show was critical to JD’s life 1. Turk was his best friend 2. Cox was his reluctant mentor 3. Carla was his voice of reason 4. Eliot was his soulmate 5. Janitor was his Frenemy / bully 6. Kelso was the “funny” uncle 7. Todd was the pervy “cousin” 8. Laverne was the nosy aunt 9. Jordan was the older rude step-sister 10. Ted was the depressed burnt-out uncle The new season had no fixed protagonist nor did it properly show how the others were in reflection to a fixed protagonist…

Dr Cox's growl and his face when he comes back to chastise JD. Priceless. I wish they would have done a follow up shot with Dr Cox walking away then doing a double take as JD takes the sign from Drew.
