You're so right, Danny! My girlfriend has the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport with the 2.4 and GDI. I did the intake cleaning once for her at 20,000 miles, but now she is Let It Go another 50,000 without a cleaning and it's starting to run rough and get poor mileage. I fear she may just be looking at an intake teardown. The best thing they ever did was go back to port and GDI combined IMHO. I'll definitely check out your second video I enjoy your content! I always appreciate someone who takes the time and effort to help other people.

I did, but I was also doing lifters. I would change it since fuel and other debris may get into the oil DOD AFM Delete Yukon, Tahoe, Silverado, Sierra, Escalade 6.2L & 5.3L Replace cam & lifters Part 1 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mb2RrNyLrLS9gn0.html

I need diagnostics guidance to determine whether a no start condition is the low pressure or the high pressure pump?

It should have a check engine light code.

How do you know if its going bad if vehicle is not throwing any codes.

Apparently if it leaks on the seal you can get fuel in the oil (hurts lubricating). The oil can smell like fuel. Mine was not bad, it was part of a larger repair that I did since I had 96,000 miles on it and removed it so put a new one on kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mb2RrNyLrLS9gn0.htmlsi=tMYkIfr4zNXzKvpT

Anyone know if all Yukons have this high preassure pump along with the fuel tank pump ? 2 pumps ? Or does this high preassure pump apply to flex fuel vehicles only ?

I believe all 2015+ Yukons will and are direct injection

I believe all 2015+ because they are direct injection for the fuel.

I replaced mine while doing new lifters, but other have had codes for too much fuel if a seal leaks

Does the new fuel lines require any Sealant ?

It would probably be a good idea. I haven’t had leaks and it’s a ball fitting, but I’d say it’s a good idea as long as you don’t get sealant in the line
