According to court records, a deputy said she received a call from the suspect. It said she told the caller, "They're here."

If she’d of just handed the deputies the phone and not said a word she be free, she tipped him off. Either way she’s got some rough days ahead.

Right, the suspect who had just shot two deputies had no idea he was being sought until "she tipped him off" -- ridiculous!

Bizarre pretext to arrest the suspect's girlfriend -- in what sense did she warn the suspect? Having shot two deputies, the suspect had to have known he was being sought by police already.

"They're here" is all they need to cuff her, thats an obvious signal for him to get going. She's an accessory.

@@KrauzerUTH Nonsense; on the face of it, she communicated nothing helpful to the suspect -- as for how little justification police need to commit false arrests, that's well established.

@@rdbchase brother he was probably out in a shed regrouping and he told her to tell him "they're here" specifically because they were dumb enough to think that it wouldn't look like she was helping.

@@KrauzerUTH Implausible. Again, there's no basis to suppose the intelligence that police were looking for the suspect was communicated to him by his girlfriend. He had to be aware of that fact and that police would seek information about him from his associates beforehand -- no benefit was conferred on him by being told police were at his girlfriend's; it wouldn't have been safe for him to go there regardless and the presence of some police there didn't make anywhere else any safer for him.

@@rdbchase but whatever phone the suspect was using to communicate is a device that can now be tracked and by saying "they're here" she is communicating to a fleeing felon that they will now be tracking his location because he connected to her device with it. aiding and abetting is a crime
