Just love, love, love your easy going, no stress method of teaching. What it does is encourages newbies like me to give it a whirl! I am in the embryonic stages of learning to play with clay. I have a passion for glass fusing but was unable to set my shop up in my smaller space 😕, so polymer clay creations has been a blessing. I've made some napkin transfer bookmarks that turned out beautifully and some easy cane little earrings, am ready to tackle bracelets! Thank you, kind people. The mold is 8 1/4 inches. I used acrylic paint. The silk screened interior came out undamaged after the bake. Lucky for me since t was experimental. :-)

Of course I ran to get the silk screen kit after I watched this!!! Although I just realized that with my vinyl cutter I can make my own screens! Bohya! Lol. But of course will learn with the kit first. Tfs...now....where are those Bollywood earrings??? Lol, I want to see them!!!!! Please?? Lol

Hazel it's 8 1/4 inches. I carry a little wire bangle in my purse so I can try it on everything in sight.

I am not sure whether I like this one or the souffle clay filled bangle better. I replicated this one yesterday (seemed a bit easier for my first try at a bracel), but now that it is baked, it looks like it might be tricky to get it off the jar. Any tips, Teresa Pandora Salgado ?

Does the silk screen function like a stencil? That's what I assumed from what Mara Tirado said. I have a Silhouette Cameo which I further assume is what she meant by a "vinyl cutter" (some kind of die cutting machine). The designs in the Sculpy kit, however, may be a bit more detailed than "normal" die cuts. Your videos are very helpful, Teresa. Thanks for making them!

How to silk screen polymer clay

Pandora, are you able to stand the glass upright when baking or must it be placed on its side? I might need to start looking around for a new oven. The ceiling in the one I have doesn't allow for in clearance.

Did you edit the part where you actually did the second part of the silk printing? The video was cut in the middle and I didn't really get to see the actual printing of the second part. Looks like the paint was much more that what you've actually placed initially. I'm asking because I am trying some silk printing and it's a bit tricky. Thanks for the tutorials, I enjoy it a lot.

Ms True here's my method. Always use the thickest setting. Be sure it's completely cool. Loosen it with a toothpick or with your fingernail all around to break the suction. Then shimmy it up slowly. If your bracelet has a separate base you can superglue it if it breaks. Then cover it with cane or whatever. Send me pix, ok? Busypandora@gmail.com.
