RC guy since the late 70's. A real blast but nothing compares to a rubber-powered plane. I learned in the mid-90's from some men in their 80's who'd been building scratch planes and knew everything about rubber-power. I built a simple stick design from a book, trimmed it out and that sucker flew for almost 2 minutes. A real thrill.

That was a dramatic flight! I've got a Dave Rees Martinsyde Buzzard almost ready for covering. This vid has just spurred me on to finish it. Biplanes always look magnificent in the blue.

Well done Jonathan.. good finish and inspiring hobby.. in the early 70's my dad bought me some guillows models from u.s.a. J was too young to appreciate the good flying models they were.. other than the heavy wheels they were certainly capable of flying far more than the poor catastrofik throws J could do at that time.. 😬 J shall made again some.. (other dusty boxes are always not open..)

Superb, Jonathan! I must admit that free-flying a beautiful model like yours on a sunny day makes me a little nervous, though. Hit some lift and it'd be gone, gone, gone, even with a DT fitted... Nooooooo! How about recruiting someone with an FPV quadcopter equipped with a butterfly net to chase after it if the Thermal Gods try to claim it? ;-)

When I was a kid I got an electric plane that had small changeable disks inside that controlled the flight pattern. The very first time I flew it with a simple circle pattern disk the disk didn’t account for the wind and I watched as my plane made slow circles and got further and further away until it was out of sight and I never saw it again. LOL

I've just got back into building for the first time since I was 14!! Been a few years, first kit I got was a sopwith triplane. Start easy I say. got a minimum Camel to build next (for Christmas) I'm thinking of making this one RC, as a quadcopter maker, I have a lot of bits, so I've rooted about and come up with a 38gram power and control system which will give me stabilised flight and other goodies. The motor is a 1/4 of an 80mph micro quad I made, so should have enough grunt, flight controller could be ligther, but I blew up the one I had ear marked as I forgot it only did 1 cell. Am I being optimistic? I only have Sbus receivers and don't want to spend any money, hence the need for a FC, adds 5grms.

@@jonathannunez2702 🔴 What Is Islam? ⚠️ 🔴 Islam is not just another religion. 🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham. 🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God. 🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone. 🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine. 🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as: 📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4)[4] 📚 🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus. 🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him.
