Just a walkthrough of the pool, beach and pier area with some comments on how we have found the hotel and some hints and tips of what is around the area. Hope it's useful

Hi, glad you found it useful. There are several small ships directly outside the hotel. There is another larger supermarket about 15 mins walk away (as you walk out of the hotel on the left).

Your videos are so so good and helpful, i have time to change my hotel I’m 50/50, the location looks beautiful and the beach looks fantastic but you’d get that anywhere along the cost. I’m going with 2 kids (2 yr old and 4 yr old) and hubs. How was your beds? I read reviews that say are like cardboard. I can’t thank you enough for posting these videos, I’m going in may 2024, still some time.

The beds were quite firm - not thin or like cardboard but if you like a soft bed you might struggle. The mattresses were in good condition as was the bedding - personally, I would have liked a softer bed. My daughter had one of the temp/converted beds and she said that was very comfortable. The aircon does make a big difference, it is obviously very hot and the aircon in the rooms was very good. We didn't struggle to sleep on the holiday and sometimes we do.

Thanks, hope it's useful. I believe the animation team are on all year round. There are TripAdvisor comments in November last year so assume they'll be there this year 👍

Looks really good !! Is the alcohol all day or certain times ? Can’t wait to go in December !

Hi, alcohol is available all day from at least one of the bars. I believe they stop serving at 23:00 but there is a chargeable bar in reception after that time. Enjoy your holiday!

It doesn't look ridiculously busy, was this in the summer holidays? How is the food as i have 2 fussy eaters in my clan. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Hi, yes this was in the school holidays and the peak of summer (July). It was relatively quiet, it never felt too busy. There was always something to eat, even for some fussy eaters in my clan 👍. There isn't as much variety as we've had elsewhere but it was nice, particularly on the themed nights. I'd probably give the food a 6 or 7 out of 10, mainly because of the lack of variety...but we were there for 2 weeks. Enjoy your hols.

How far is the old market from this hotel and are the Taxi expensive

Hi, I didn't travel to old town from this hotel so unsure of cost. There are cheap trips to the old town. Taxis in general are cheap in Egypt, just a tip, always agree a price before you get in the taxi as they can overcharge you otherwise.

'can you get away from the loud music. Seems you can hear even on the beach. That's put me right off

Hi, there is music throughout the resort but I never found it too loud. I think there may have been a quiet pool in the centre that you could use but honestly cant remember if there was music there or not.

Hi, depends on the time of year. It was around 43C most days in July. It was hot but we were sensible with sun cream and none of the 6 people in our group burnt in 2 weeks. There is plenty of shade if you need it.
