The weather was nice, not boiling but warm enough to be comfortable. The pools were still a bit cold being early in the season. The indoor pool was nice.

Hi, glad you found it useful. There are several small ships directly outside the hotel. There is another larger supermarket about 15 mins walk away (as you walk out of the hotel on the left).

Hi, yes you can get food from the beach bar in between meals. If you arrive late you can also have snacks but selection is limited. The hotel is on the beach but you can get into the deeper part that you can swim in after a 5 mins walk on the pier. The hotel is nice but could do with some updating. We enjoyed our holiday but food was average in terms of selection. I'm not that fussy and would rate it a 6/10. On Themes nights the food can be an 9/10. Hope this helps

I had a lovely week there and I would return. In honesty I prefer Sharm. I enjoyed this hotel as did my wife and 13 year old daughter.

Hi, in honesty the bars are average. If you like beer you'll be fine. They don't do cocktails as such. Their gin, vodka etc tastes very similar. I saw quite a few people bringing in their own favourite brand spirits, wine isn't great. Entertainment is actually pretty good but it was a 1 week cycle, so fine if you are there for a week but you'll see the same thing is you're there for 2 weeks or longer. Enjoy!

Hi, there were very few flies around in the day. There were a few mozzies in the evening but again not very many. We were bitten once or twice but not a big problem.

Hi, I didn't travel to old town from this hotel so unsure of cost. There are cheap trips to the old town. Taxis in general are cheap in Egypt, just a tip, always agree a price before you get in the taxi as they can overcharge you otherwise.

Hi, there is music throughout the resort but I never found it too loud. I think there may have been a quiet pool in the centre that you could use but honestly cant remember if there was music there or not.

Thanks for your feedback, have to be honest we didn't have any issues with WiFi when we went (2 families, 6 people) perhaps things have gotten worse since we went back in July.

Thanks for your comment, it's a shame you had a bad experience but I can't fake a video. This was taken in July 2023. It is possible things might have gone downhill since then but this was literally taken 4 months ago. I posted this to help people make up their own minds based on some very negative reviews. I have no affiliation with the hotel and went with another family that enjoyed their holiday. Not going to lie, this hotel does need investment but we had an enjoyable 2 weeks there .

Hi, it was warm at all times - early to mid 30C in the day and late 20's early 30s at night. Not too hot but pleasant.

Hi, alcohol is available all day from at least one of the bars. I believe they stop serving at 23:00 but there is a chargeable bar in reception after that time. Enjoy your holiday!

Hi, yes we found the WIFI to be ok in most of the hotel. Sometimes the signal wasn't great inside the hotel rooms but overall it was fine.

Hi, yes this was in the school holidays and the peak of summer (July). It was relatively quiet, it never felt too busy. There was always something to eat, even for some fussy eaters in my clan 👍. There isn't as much variety as we've had elsewhere but it was nice, particularly on the themed nights. I'd probably give the food a 6 or 7 out of 10, mainly because of the lack of variety...but we were there for 2 weeks. Enjoy your hols.

Hi, you're very unlikely to find bacon or sausage anywhere in Egypt due to it being a Muslim country (same for Turkey etc.). There is usually a bacon substitute that is made out of beef but in my opinion doesn't taste anything like bacon. There is usually full continental breakfast, fruit/cereal/eggs/pancakes etc. I have to be honest I didn't ask about gluten free but I'm sure they would and do accommodate. If you are concerned for your daughter might be worth confirming with the hotel directly (I'm sure they will) Hope this helps, enjoy your holiday.

Hi, depends on the time of year. It was around 43C most days in July. It was hot but we were sensible with sun cream and none of the 6 people in our group burnt in 2 weeks. There is plenty of shade if you need it.

The beds were quite firm - not thin or like cardboard but if you like a soft bed you might struggle. The mattresses were in good condition as was the bedding - personally, I would have liked a softer bed. My daughter had one of the temp/converted beds and she said that was very comfortable. The aircon does make a big difference, it is obviously very hot and the aircon in the rooms was very good. We didn't struggle to sleep on the holiday and sometimes we do.

Hi - yes it is nice and open. There is plenty of space on the beach with a lot of sunbeds free. The sand is quite rough (big grains) but it is clean and tidy. The sea directly in front of the hotel is waist deep the whole way to the end of the pier. Just be mindful the pier is long....very long (approx. 1km) it is lovely at the end if you want to snorkel in the deep water but there is also a place that you can snorkel/swim approx a third of the way on the pier.

Hey, thank you - I'm glad you find the videos helpful. I try to keep it as real as possible so you know what to expect. We always found something to eat - there is always pasta, chicken, chips etc available (pizza at the beach bar). They do have themed nights too which does add some variation. One point is they don't have fresh fruit juices unless you pay for them (only orange). Coffee/Tea is fairly basic, none of the Latte type coffee's from vending machines which would have been nice. It's not the best food I've had but not the worst either - in my honest opinion it's probably a 3 to 4 * from a food perspective.

It was hot - we travelled mid July and it was 40+ every day. That said it didn't feel too hot - we travelled as 2 families ranging from 13 years old to 50+ and we all found it bearable. There was enough shade and the aircon in the rooms were great in the evenings. One day it hit 56C, even then it was dry heat which was actually not as bad as our previous holiday in Turkey which was mid 40's (and felt too hot). Enjoy your holiday!

Nice - it's one of the best rides in my opinion :)

We went this time last year. Some people were out at like 05:30 putting towels down to reserve their spots by the pool with an umbrella which is crazy. There were always beds available but not always enough umbrellas so sometimes you had to move them under a tree. Failing that there was always space under shade by the beach. Have a great time!
