Since flameheart jr said something like "her sister will be yours" during the christmas stream the moment I saw the new pirate code I knew it was about Wonda. But I assumed the new Captain Warsmith would be her since the old one betrayed flameheart but they still have the code up at a fort.

So “warsmith” is more of a position in flamehearts army rather than a title given to a singular person, so I guess he is looking for someone else to fill the role.

I just cant shake this feeling that Amaranta will play a huge role to flameheart... and that the Sea Dogs will eventually split up into 3 different paths, Demarco with Ramsey, Lesedi talks about her old crew, and Amaranta is yet again gone, probably out to turn the Sea Dogs into what she always envisioned with the help of new spanish forces under Flamehearts influence. Would also be a backup option as I cant see Wonda following her sisters footsteps.

Maybe the sea dogs will become a bounty hunter faction and get an emissary

The forts in the wilds have banners that look like Flameheart jrs hat. That and there's a piece of parchment on a beam. It has an hourglass and the gold hoarders symbol on it

Thanks to you, we have known Flameheart Jr was the Servant of Flame for the longest and Reapers were all about resurrecting Sr. I am looking forward to Sea Dogs coming back to the game in Adventure. Also: I anticipate we will see the Dark Brethren and Jack Sparrow again. I wonder if the resurrected Flameheart will be a tall tale or a world event in the center of the map where Sea Dogs tavern is now.

It might not be most accurately cursed cannonballs, but some other cursed or similarly enchanted item. The Burning Blade had enchanted cannons, every shot they fired was cursed. He might be trying to replicate that, or enchant an entire ship - Wanda accidentally did so through what amounts to excessive magic exposure, the skeleton ships were created this way and rise again, repairing themselves, similarly to how they sail themselves - they obey the wishes of a captain, but are independent entities. Imagine a fleet of ships, like the skeleton ships but requiring no crew, repairing themselves without any weakness from the loss of workers on board. A fleet of ships which, while unsinkable, can still rise again like the skeleton ships even if by some miracle someone _does_ sink one.

I never actually noticed all those little details from inside the forts because my crew mates were always up for just looting the places dry, so the next time I come across a seafort I shall take a much closer look for myself with my own eyes (or sockets depending on if I'm wearing the bone chiller costume or not)

I noticed all that stuff but was too busy looking for the damn jail cell key to pay much attention. I think these Fortresses are going to be taken over by the Dark Brethren as places to launch attacks at Flameheart's Sea Forts. Maybe eventually we'll see ghosts fighting against skeletons for control?

That was the last thing I was doing. I know they're quite like a few seasons behind content wise but good way to get built up in the early game.

One painting always caught my eye and may not just be me. The pirate lord wrapped in an anchors chains. How many ships where big enough to do that? Flameheart tried to use his tiny ghost galleon, why not have an upgrade? And where to find it is through a portal at golden sands...

Am I the only one here who wants to see new Cursed Cannonballs? Think about it, some orange/Scarlett Ashen variants would be amazing! A Boil Ball, which causes the water in, and around the ship to boil A Smokescreen Ball, which puts a huge cloud of smog around the enemy ship (potentially even removing UI elements too, making coordination much more difficult) An Eruption Ball, which summons a bunch of Molten Rocks to fall from the sky, much like the ones that the Ashen Lords can summon. A Blast Ball, which functions like a more OP version of a Blunderbomb, or similarly to the Explosion attack that Ashen Lords can do And lastly, maybe an Inferno Ball, or Black Powder Ball, with the former dealing 5 random points of fire, and the latter having a similar effect to an actual Gunpowder Keg, but in a Cannon Fireable form.

The annoying thing is that Davy Jones is the reason why the Sirens, Ocean Crawlers, and Phantoms are here but the malicious capitalist mouse will not allow Rare to even reference his existence. We know he did all this but the game will barley acknowledge his existence at all since the crossover is finished.

There is an opportunity for the forts to actually be "taken over" You could take them for a trading company and for each one taken all value for loot from that company gets a small increase.

A thought occurs: We had how many shops npcs vanish? Clothing, equipment, weapons, shipwright, order, merchant, GH, tavern, emporium. Thats 9. Assume Wonda is alive for lore, thats 8. Assume the Emporium is a meta character, that's 7. Assume one npc potentially eacaped, thats 6. How many skeletons are there on the forts?

There is the Captain that we freed. He later showed up guarding, or was he spying?, over the door to the tavern in the Sea of the Damned. He might have a role to play as well. I wonder if it becomes like a Civil War of sorts between the two factions, Flameheart and the Brethren, and Rare has us choose a side, enemy of my enemy? Falcore mentioned a Star Wars scenario where L'il Flame didn't know his real father... what if his soul is being bound to his father? If the Cap'n that cursed him was his father and he did it to obtain his complete loyalty? If that's the case, in the future they could toss a plot twist by freeing his soul in some cinematic way, and he would then turn on his father?
