I own 6 sloops that represent the different trading companies, as well as one that serves as my main ship. I wish people just used what they think looks good without worrying too much about weird advantages and what group they belong in, feels like I see the same ship sets over and over again on the seas

As a merchant ambassador, you could not have described me and my crew better. We are so paranoid that we have developed a ‘player check’ tick. You’ll often see more than one of us with our spyglasses out checking the horizon. 😅

The Order is my favorite. I mean think about it. Almost all raids/ community events gives out some decent skull of some kind. Skellies are easy money. Skelly ships pop outta nowhere all the time. And the sets aren't half bad at all. Plus more than half of messeges in a bottle are for order.

As someone who often uses the merchant set, that was dead accurate.

As an Ori fan myself, I was sad when I was late for the original twitch drop for the Ancestral set. Whenever I came across any flying the colors of MoonShine studios, I thought they would be friendly. Oh, was I a sweet summer child; they come after me RELENTLESSLY. Didn't matter if you were doing your own thing, they'd stomp over solo sloops like me back then. It came to a point that if ever I saw those sails on the horizon, I would turn my ship around and hope they didn't see me. However, now that I got the ship set for myself recently, I sail my "Spirit of Nature" with pride. So now you're at least able to find ONE Ori fan on the seas.

Found a parrot brig at an outpost once. Was tired and about to leave so even though I was solo with a ship full of loot I parked at the outpost and began to sell the loot. They literally sat there playing instruments and watched me sell it. Heck one of them even helped me unload the loot but yet handed it to me to sell.

to be fair, i run the full ashen dragon set with "sunken dreams" flag because i spent the time grinding out all the tomes to get EVERY commodation for the set well before they combined ashen key and ashen guardians together into 1 NPC and you still had to buy the key quests from lorana for like 10 or was it 50 dubloons

The merchant one is relatable to me, I rock this on my sloop and I don't go after anyone unless they come near me showing no signs of being friendly and fight to survive.

I go for the dark not flashy cosmetics as a solo sloop I like to run a low profile. Find that in the night time people are less likely to spot you with the inky kraken hull.

It’s kinda nice that Reapers are seen as cowards now, because that gives the actual Reapers the element of surprise

As a new sloop player with just the hunter sails, I was not ready for the call out

my ship is a mix of lionfish set, bear and bird set, and sunshine parrot set as the colors all mix very well together :)

I don't have all of the Hunter set, but I have most of it, and yes, I am mostly a sloop.

I'm usually rocking some combination of OG bone crusher or the hungering one figurehead with whatever looks good with it that day

Nightshine Parrot here. Use this color because dark blue is my favorite and I have a blue/green parrot myself in irl and decide to buy the parrot mascot with the dublons.

after the DA sails nerf, the regular kraken sails actually looks good with the insider hull becouse the darker parts on the hull have like a purple tint to it, and we can actually kinda see through them

I have a little fox channel (fox family comes to my door every morning) and I paired the Infinite Depths set with Inky Kraken sail. Looks rather perfect, as my char name is Ninetails (Sail looks more vulpine than kraken honestly). The little "whiskers" on the front hull are just a bonus. Hope Rare makes a fox figurehead one of these days. There is one on the unicorn rainbow thing... But not my taste. 😅

For me, I change up my cosmetics every so often, both clothes and ship. Currently running with the Aurora Borealis ship set. Normally on sloop, but do occasional brigantine adventures, and am very chill. Also, you forgot Eastern Jade Dragon and the infamous Arena sets.

I consider myself an average player not bad and I use the ashen dragon set sometimes (except for the cannons there too bulky) and I just think it looks cool and a lot of my friends agree

Me being a reaper with one reaper looking esc ship, repear ledger pieces(capstan mainly) ashen hull the ritual of the damnned reaper sails from the choice adventure. Gold wheel and cannons from the 5th year anniversary event. And to top it off the servants level 100 figurehead. I find it sad when I come across other reapers running as ya said the full set, and just either running to reset, or running and trying to board and stall ya from catching them. Reapers as an emmissary get a bad rep all because people who run reapers don’t want to actually engage in pvp. Or if they are any other emmissary and see a reaper wanting a fight for their loot they just run and don’t bother engaging 90% of the time.
