Sea Kayak Camping Baja Mexico - SO MANY DOLPHINS!

10 ай бұрынThis instalment is coming from the 6-day sea kayak camping trip to Baja, Mexico!
Paddling into Loreto Bay National Park, protected under the UNESCO World Heritage Site, we made our way between Isla Carmen and Isla Danzante. We camped on the beaches, under the stars, and caught fresh fish from the kayaks to accompany our exceptionally delicious meals of Mexican cuisine.
Wildlife was abundant - the dolphins absolutely stole the show!
We kayaked with dolphins, we swam with dolphins, we saw them up close and acrobatic. We really were spoilt on this trip.
Equal doses of exhilarating wildlife watching and complete tranquillity.

All these kayak videos in calm 'glass like" water... every time I go out the wind, waves and current are always conspiring against me!

I believe it because we saw the same thing same place. Trudi's company (she's moved on now, Donkey's rides or something). The whale watching on the opposite side is well worth the drive too

Looks like an amazing trip and Wow for the dolphin encounters! I had my first major wildlife encounter in a kayak last week in Becher Bay, Vancouver Island. Humpbacks scared the sh*t out of me. 😂 I tucked into a kelp bed by a small rock island and watched for awhile. Priceless.

Seeing a humpback up close from a lil kayak can be an unnerving experience! Hiding out in the kelp and rocks definitely sounds like a smart move

What are you doing for fresh water? Is there a ponga accompanying you?

@@armortodd5162 I don't know what a ponga is, but we were carrying enough fresh water for the duration of the trip
