In this video you were talking about why luffy got woozy when he touched sea prism bars, and why Robin didn't get woozy when she had sea prism handcuffs. I think the reason luffy gets woozy is because luffys body itself is the power of the devil fruit, due to the devil fruit effecting his body the sea prism stone would have too stop the function of his body EG: Slugish movement *BUT* Robin's devil fruit doesn't effect her body. As we all know she can make body parts out of the blue and stick it to the wall. The sea prism handcuffs would only nullify her devil fruit ability, but not her ability to walk or run. It's surprising Oda hasn't gone in depth to the application of Sea prism stone. The potential weapons and applications of it could really change the foundation of how our characters handle different fights. At first before timeskip I always thought Luffy eventually would get some kind of Sea stone brass knuckles on a glove for Logias before Haki came. And now in Wano we have potentially small projectiles being manufactured for Kaido's army to use and are likely trading it with the WG. I can just imagine what the main deposit of the Sea stone must be? Maybe some kind of special liquid fountain that can solidify and be molded when taken out.

I think it depends on the devilfruit, if the seastone is more effective or not. As an example, Luffy is permanently made of rubber. It is different with the Logia users. They must consciously use their power to become the element.

I think we have already seen sea stone bullets. During the Marineford war when shanks crew arrived. Ben Beckman pointed his gun at kizaru and he stopped dead in his tracks. That was mostly likely a sea stone bullet what else would make him stop like that

I think the reason that smoker had a sea-prism stone weapon was because he was assigned to Loguetown, which is a place that every pirate in the east-blue had to pass through to get to the grand-line... As for why he kept the thing well.... They just let him, I mean he was promoted soon after he left. And they had already made it into an oversized 十手 for smoker, so it might have been to expensive to reprocess it into something else.

Good video! Tekking, best OP-Tuber. :D Just to make some things more clear. ^^ 1) Seastone does not emit the same power. Or, better say the same power, but not the same amount of it. It's still the power of the sea, like crystallyzed water, but Seastone is way~ stronger and it's working differently. While water, if you're completely submerged, only robs your body strength and not robbing your devilfruit power itself, seastone does it the other way around, completely blocking your devilfruit as if you wouldn't have any, while when in contact with it, your still not feeling that weak like when submerged in water. -> Submerged in water: Unfortunately we didn't have enough examples, but Luffy, Smoker, Buggy, Chopper and Brook all couldn't do anything when submerged, they were sinking like stones and had to be rescued. At the same time water didn't block their devilfruit, it's just they can't use it on their own anymore. Since Luffy's body is always rubber, and the water doesn't take it away, other people still could stretch his power, like we saw with Luffy in ArlongArc. -> Contact with Seastone: DF-users still feel weaker, but not in any way like when submerged in water. Robin was able to walk, even run away with handcuffs. Ace even was able to resist against deporting to MF in ImpelDown, without success (chapter 540). At the same time, Seastone takes devilfruit powers away, it blocks them completely, in contact with seastone df-users are like normal people without any devilfruit powers. It's as if they never had any devilfruit power. Luffy never was able to even get stretched from others while in contact, Marco completely turned back and got shot like normal, when he got handcuffs on MarineFord. Most important example is Enel, when Wiper attacked him with his shoes and reect dial. Enel wasn't able to use his power, neither actively, nor passively. But we know that logia are passively working, they're transforming it's user as soon as any damage would happen. We know that on the other hand from Monet on Punk Hazard, also logia. She got attacked by Zorro, but wasn't in control of her body and her devilfruit, she couldn't use it on her own anymore, but still her body transformed into snow, on it's own. So logia are passively working, the user doesn't need to always stay aware of normal attacks, the logia power transforms on it's own. But Enel got hit. This means seastone takes away devilfruit powers, because if it wouldn't be that case, Enel would have transformed and Wipers attack would have went through him without any effect, even without himself controlling the power to do so. The devilfruit power would transform Enel on it's own, but it didn't because the seastone completely deactivated/blocked the devilfruit power. 2) Why Luffy is acting differently than others in contact with seastone. There is no special side-effect to either seastone or his special devilfruit power, it's Luffy's character. Luffy is very very extroverted, he shows his emotions without any restraint. Even if seastone doesn't weaken his body that much like he would be submerged in water, he still shows all his "feeling weaker emotions" with all of his heart. Luffy could walk around normally like Ace, Robin or Marco can do too, but Luffy is way more extroverted, so he shows his felt "weakness".

I don‘t believe that Sea Prism Stone is naturally accuring (maybe Wano is the only exception) and therefore so valuable since there is a finite amount aviable to the WG. It looks like something crafted specifically to counter DF which i argue are also man made. I would even go further and say that DF and SPS are the real conflict that lead to the war or whatever in the void century.

As an alternative to your liquid hypothesis, I propose the following: kairoseki carbides. Much like how diamond carbides are used in drills and saws, small kairoseki crystals could be embedded in metal to produce similar effects.

It's hard being excited for a new video since I only watch the anime and I learn about certain information that I did not know about previously such as the origin of the sea prism stone. I am now going to lose the shock value when the anime catches up to the current manga and shows this 'big reveal' and I will just be like oh okay cool. I love Tekking's videos but sometimes it's a toss up whether or not I get spoiled about something I was going to discover in the anime.

Maybe the Sea doesn't affect Devil Fruit users at all, but there's so much microscopic Sea Prism Stone in the ocean that it's like touching the stone? Or maybe it lines the seafloor and water is some kind of conductor for its power?

On the subject of the sea prism stone weapons and items (like handcuffs and cell bars), it's possible that the stone itself isn't used as the primary material, but instead worked into the metal, much like carbon being mixed with iron during the forging process to make steel. If this is the case, that would explain the variable strength of the stone's effect based on the relative percentage of the stone worked in with the metal, such as high carbon steels. This would also lead to a trade off of different properties; higher concentrations of sea prism stone will lead to a stronger effect, but would be more brittle, while lower concentrations will have a weaker effect, but would have better flexibility (which is better for making weapons).

Why do you think seaprism stone nullifies the devil fruit users powers but the ocean doesnt? It would have to be because its condensed sea ability but like... even if a devil fruit user is completely submerged their devil fruit doesn’t just stop working.

I remember a point when they crew was going to Fishman Island, that robin pushed the ship away from some rocks. She had to use her powers underwater and it weakened her. when the replicated hands came into contact with the water but she was still able to use her powers. I think after she did that when asked how. she said that the revolutionary army taught her how to somewhat resist Sea prism stone for a few seconds.

I mean considering they were able to make the outer walls of the Smile Factory out of Sea Prism Stone, Doffy probably got that supply directly from Kaido in Wano so there's probably a metric heckton of it there, as far as the radiation deal I think the lining the bottom of the ships deal and the devil fruit deal or two totally different deals, the devil fruit part only works when in contact and there's no radiation to speak of, the 'mimicking the sea' part doesn't really radiate so much as it is camouflage, like hiding under a brown painted board in a desert, since if a Sea King actually touches the boat it'll probably still attack but if it sees or feels it moving, it'll just think it's an ocean wave

I think making the handcuffs or other materials out of seaprism stone may be similar to a process in chemistry called electrocoating where you take one conductive object and use it to coat a surface

My theory is that the ocean and Seaprism stone are connected through the mineral making up the stone itself spread out throughout the entirety of the sea. I think Vegapunk could very well invent a way to filter it out from the sea perhaps for the resources or to make mass quantities of water that doesn't influence allied devil fruit users.

What I want to know is: how does SPS affect non-DF Fishmen? Is the "sea's energy" enough to make them underwater-strong even if they're on dry land? Or is the power-up directly related to the actual environment they're in?

Hollow point bullets with shards of sea prism stone. That fixes all the problems with the material being to finicky. The bullet will explode in the body and cut up a bunch of stuff plus it makes it so sea prism stone is all ways inside the body, so their powers will always be contained. If it is hit or sliced before impact the pieces will always be hit the target

Seastone Gao Cannon is actually pretty simply; fill the pressurized area with Seastone dust that gets fired out with the air.

i believe that the sea prism stone kinda doesn't have a consistent effect, so when a devil fruit user touches it he gets drained fairly quickly, but after wearing those handcuffs for a while, they just kinda get used to it and can function to a certain degree.

It´s been stated that cuffs made of seastone are less "dense" than things like seastone cell bars or Smoker´s Jitte´s tip. Because if you want to move a prisioner is better to have them walk by themselves rather than having to carry them around. In contrast when you are fighting them is better to have a more "dense" version of seastone in order to completely stop them to capture them. Also I don´t think it radiates energy because Smoker wouldn´t be able to carry his jitte being so close to the tip. It needs direct contact with the user
