Thank you for video, very helpful. I ended up attaching foam to box instead of battery to see if I can save for a new battery in future. Will see how it holds up. Had to work with ground cable to reach battery negative. Cut all the black tape put on cables by Seadoo to free up some length. Replaced tape as needed upon completion of installation. Put both foams on back side of battery with no foam on front side which pushed the battery forward and closer to negative cable. It was exactly the right size, not an inch to spare, fits absolutely perfect. Also, didn't attach zip ties until everything was in place. All and all, happy with the upgrade. Getting ready to add speed ties and a sun shade. If you got the Seadoo fenders, recommend tethering to the rails. We lost one last season and not looking to lose another. AGM stands for the type of material used inside the battery. Old style batteries used to be filled with lead plates. These batteries are common as a starter battery. AGM is the same technology except it uses Absorbent Glass Material (AGM) instead of lead plates. (SLA)

It shows the terminals attached to the original battery case. The same cables that were attached to the old battery get transferred over to the new terminals. There will be another video next week that adds a switch to allow one to select between batteries. The next video will show all the wiring. This video mainly shown how to install the high capacity battery.

I bought a minn kota 3 bank alternator charger, it requires me to tap into a ignition wire. Do you know which wire i would need to tap onto and where it is located on the switch?

Great video. I had a question I see you have a solar charger hooked up from the hold battery connection. Did you leave that there? I ask because it's obviously much more convenient for me to hook up a trickle/float charger there then it is to the new larger covered one in the center storage. Didn't know if it was ok to set a trickle charge in the middle of the circuit and not directly to the battery

Hey Frank I added the high capacity battery kit and battery switch just like you in your videos, But won’t start on the high capacity battery it say’s in dash check key and won’t start when switched to #2 high capacity battery, switched to # 1 and #1&#2 it works fine. Any idea what would cause that. Could it be something to do with break in period or learning key? Which I don’t have

Great video on installation of the Sea Doo HC Battery box/wiring installation. But you didn't show the battery wiring. So based on what you said, you simply replaced the small starting battery with a larger high capacity battery? How do you keep both batteries charged? This is another sea doo engineering design flaw. They put a small PWC battery in a boat, so if you want to run the accessories when the engine is off, you need to install the HC battery. It would have been better if BRP/Sea Doo provided a wiring diagram so you can pull the house loads off the starting battery, keep the alternator and engine on the starting battery, connect them with an A-AB-B switch and a dual battery isolator to allow both batteries to recharge underway. I'm also installing a shore power plug and battery charger/tender that will recharge both batteries when in the slip or on the trailer.

Irritates the heck out of me Seadoo nickels and dimes you to death with items that should have been OEM. Grrrrrrr
