That 100w160 lamp will be very, very hot indeed, at 160w it will be drawing 11.4a, it will need heavy gauge wire and relays to drive it and better make sure the lens is glass, the reflector and lamp holder metal and the bulb connector ceramic. and have some air around the back of the reflector.

Hi how do you get the black back pod apart from the headlight mine seems to be held in by something even though I removed all the screws

Hi there, so if the halogen bulbs don't draw anymore power, if I convert my 1969 Morris Minor to 60/55w without relays, that should be fine? :)

If the volts and watts havent chaged the amps haven't either so all good but, relays and heavy gauge wire will always give you a brighter whiter light.

helpful vid but host didnt get notified about speed up or editor didnt do anything about the sounsd, kind annoying to hear electronic chirping like that
