For those not mathmeticians, is the info for the curve in the box, where do we see it for our cars. ? It needs to be simple. MGB-25D-Choose curve 6. Job done. If not these are not for joe public at this high cost

It's very frustrating when reviewers don't state their height & the size of the jacket. Many overseas buyers don't have access to try different sizes of jackets.

I had an issue with the system cutting out when it gets hot, I then have to wait for the car to cool down and start up again. I am about to change to a 123 distributor as it does not seem to have the same problems when getting hot.

Not sure about fool proof .I had mine fitted for five years trouble free and then the ignition module failed.Left me stranded.At that point I wished I had kept my original points and condenser.Would of been fixed on the roadside the old school way instead of a recovery tow.Having said that I fitted a replacement module and did not go back to points/ condenser.I carry a spare module in the boot now and if it ever occurs again I can swap out at the roadside.Expensive compared to buying points etc but certainly is not fail proof but gives great performance.

What year was this recorded? Vintage & Classic video recording too. I'd have to mark it down a few points as black & white, grainy & crackly sound would have made it slightly more difficult to comprehend. Not much though.

love your video, especially the vintage switches like on an Austin Healey 3000 BJ8, '67 model! I do have a question, is there such a thing as a tool to tighten the rings that have the two slots like in some of your switches? I'd love to know if such a wrench is available?

I will say that my POR-15 sealer said to rotate the tank and let it sit while doing the metal prep phase. It didn't say anything about 20 minutes, it said roll the tank then let it sit each side for 30 minutes. Unfortunately i read that after having already just shook it then drained it.

I tried the electrolysis method (on KZfaq) for getting rid of the rust inside the tank, then washed it with a flexible jet wash hose that got right in. I have a 2000 Suzuki Bandit and the cap was stuck so had to cut a hole in the bottom and release it then weld it up. Believe me I tried everything else. Just about to use POR15 "now". Thanks useful video

It didn’t completely stop the leak through several pin holes annoyingly. Then I contacted a supplier to find out I couldn’t tip more in as it doesn’t stick to itself ahhhhhh. Luckily they make a patch repair paste that you brush on thinly (NOT CHEAP) which I applied to the bottom of the tank twice as one application didn’t solve it. At the moment it appears to be holding and I don’t have any other leaks.

I love your jackets, especially your use of merino lambskins. That fleece looked liked a honey-colored sheared and plucked beaver. One thing that regularly buggs me is that making the entire thing out of sheepskin can get inaccessibly expensive. A heavy black wool overcoat, peacoat, barnstormer (wool version) or shirt jacket would be taken to an entirely different level as a consequence of that golden fleece. Hell, a duffle coat with a shearling lined hood would look gorgeous! I'd love to buy those if you had them, otherwise I just have to have them custom made.

This is the 1st midrise lift that I have ever seen that has taken into consideration all the issues with lift design!!!! It's safe, simple, inexpensive, provides clear access to the entire drivetrain- EXCELLENT guys!!!! Just two requests- 1) bump up the weight load capacity to 5,500 lbs then our light duty pickups will fit on it and 2) sell this in the USA!!!!!!!

Hi Sir you should have installed the fan on the inside of the radiator as I found it give a by far better air flow by drawing more air through the radiator & over the engine & all do change the wires around & possibly the fan off & turn the fan around for the air to come through the radiator & force the air over the engine & that way you get by far better cooling Kind Regards Peter

Are all sealed beam bulbs universal/interchangeable over different car brands? Or does each car model have it's own specific type? I got an old 76 Lincoln with four bulbs and was wondering if I specifically need to search for bulbs that match this model, or if the size alone is enough to order any sealed beam that simply matches it.

As long as you have the part number to your headlight you should be fine. If you don't know or don't want to check then go to sylvania's website and give it your vehicle's your year, make, and model and it will tell you what you need and where to find it
@8Jory

The whole point of sealed beam headlights was that they were standardized across all platforms. Sylvania is your best bet for a good one.

Not to be rude at all, and probably many agree, that these cars scare the living hell out of me. First Vampire's sister tragically killed its driver. Then Richard Hammond nearly died in Vampire. They really scare me and the drivers that still drive these types of dragsters have BALLS OF STEEL!

This is merely a video telling us to replace wooden discs with modern fibre ones. Very well but you don't explain how to adjust/set the wooden old type. Also you don't say that the small star goes UNDERNEATH the big star; something most people don't understand and get wrong.

@Will he heck as like On my 1932 Lagonda the Hartford shock absorber pressure, according to the manual, should be set to 30 - 35 Lbs. With your method it is not possible to do that. I take the Hartfords off the car and press each down on scales. I tighten or loosen the nut until the scales reads 30 - 35 Lbs. I have used this method, as described in the original Hartford brochure, for 40 years now; it works perfectly and is accurate. However, it is a big job. I therefore do this only once (or every 10 years or so). When the adjusted Hartfords are back on the car I check the speed with which the jacked-up wheel comes down to the ground using your method. I note the time it takes for the wheels to come down from 30 cm (it differs for front and rear) and henceforth use those figures to adjust the Hartfords while they stay on the car.
