Sealed Beam to H4 - Upgrading the headlights on my 1991 Pontiac Firebird!

Күн бұрынSealed beam headlight bulbs just don't cut it anymore. Today, my Firebird will be getting upgraded to modern H4 lighting.

My firebird 1990 needs a driver side cup holder and lock. like you mentioned in your last video about your firebird, please make a video on this soon or let me know how i can find the cup holder please. Keep up the great work

The lock switches can be easily ordered online. I've never been able to find a new cup holder though, so I drew one up in CAD and 3D printed a replacement.

Do you have a model number for those headlight housings? I’m looking to upgrade my headlights on my 91 and am finding multiple different housings.

Housing were HELLA 003177001. The relay harness I bought doesn’t look like it’s available anymore, but any H4 harness should work.

@@griffensander I've gotten judged 10 times in 12 years with 3 different fourth gens, never placed, gotten discouraged, and now I just enter the Tipp City cruise-in on Saturday evening. It is an awesome show with about 500 Firebirds. You should check it out, or try the Pontiac National show in Norwalk in July.

0:10 the whole world ? Nope, North America ONLY ;) And they always sucked. Also, modern headlight should have less glare than sealed beam. But with everybody putting aftermarket LED in them, lifting their truck, not adjusting them properly, driving with fog lights on ALL THE TIME… Yeah it’s bad.
