Seamless Versatile Sewin Install *better than micro links

Here is a seamless versatile sewin install that’s I think is better than micro links! I call it a 5 part sewin because you can wear a side part, middle part, half up half down, and do a full ponytail! Think of the three part sewin but a step up! I also would relate it to the in between sewin which is my favorite! This sewin method allows for maximum versatility(same as micro link hair extensions) while having less maintenance(due to more of your hair being tucked away). After doing my hair one at for years I finally gave up micro links and do this instead! For me it’s a happy medium! If you are curious how to do a versatile sewin on natural hair yourself, check out this video showcasing how I do my own sewin at home:
If you are curious and still prefer micro link hair extensions, no needle no thread, check out one or both of these videos for a micro link tutorial: • Video
Sewin vs Braidless Sewin: • Video
3 Part Sewin: • Seamless Versatile Sew...
If you’d like to know more about raw hair extensions and the pros and cons of it, check out this video(my sister didn’t use raw hair in this video): • Video
To check out a hair playlist, visit here: • I stopped wearing fake...
I do not post hair extensions videos much anymore, only if I do something new so I’m sorry if you are subscribed for such! I post chit chat videos about what it’s like being a homemaker in a modern society and I recently started doing interviews with others about their life in a series called, abnormally normal! I look forward to chatting with people about living our what society would call an abnormal life but it’s normal for them! So if you’d like to be featured, shoot me an email at shesoffthebeatenpath@gmail.com

Wigs have proven to be VERY damaging and wig companys have not been consistant in quality. I have only done half wigs and uparts because I didnt have the skill the MELT LACE. (most women dont tbh). The DAMAGE caused be lacefronts PROVED that it wasnt a protective style.
@Offthebeatenpath.
@Offthebeatenpath. 2 жыл бұрын
@@mochamommyATX the glue is so bad but the ones you can pop on and off(closures) aren’t as bad, but can shift LOL! QUALITY MATTERS and most are 🗑 I hate to say it. Raw hair is best and the only hair I recommend. Upart are great too! The lace on wigs always looked fake to me, no matter how seamless the melt. Inbetween sewins done with raw hair are my favorite!

I just tried this on long hair and if you don’t like the bang look you can do light layers from where your leave out ends to blend and make it look seamless. The layers will keep it full and make it look like it’s all one length because it eliminates the line of demarcation

Hi Gwen! I love & appreciate your videos. I need some clarification on crown braid. I don't understand what happened to the ends of the last 2 cornrows at the very top. You crossed them, sewed the cross over down, but the ends are out. Are those unbraired & included in the leave out? If so, how is it not unraveling & the track not slipping off???
@Offthebeatenpath.
@Offthebeatenpath. Жыл бұрын
Hey! Yes I left them out because if I sewed it down it would have been a little too bulky for my liking! I sewed it down to secure it and the thread acted as a rubber band so when I unbraided them, the cornrow didn’t come out. I straightened it like the rest of the leaveout and you could not tell!

I wouldn't mind having this done with 4c hair is that possible?
@Offthebeatenpath.
@Offthebeatenpath. Жыл бұрын
Yes of course! Just get a hair texture that matches in luster! I’d use either kinky straight, kinky curly, or raw Indian curly(you’d have to straighten your hair with this but the luster will match if it’s a textured bundle)

@Offthebeatenpath.
@Offthebeatenpath. Жыл бұрын
My sister and I both never had a perm, we are both natural and straighten occasionally. If you wear your hair mainly curly, get a curly texture(either kinky curly or kinky straight) it will look good!

Do you have suggestions if I would like to do a color blend (4,27,613) but natural hair is only 4? How would that work with leave out?
@Offthebeatenpath.
@Offthebeatenpath. Жыл бұрын
It would work and look balayage! A tip would be to make sure you leave out as little leaveout as possible(still enough to cover though) on the parts in the front! Too much left out and you’ll most likely be able to see the separation! OR you can add a Microlink at the very top to blend :) I used to do this when my leaveout was super short

@@Offthebeatenpath. great idea using the microlink on top! Thanks for the tips
