Brother Sean Ali Stone, please don't call yourself a Shia or Sunni or anything else. Just call yourself a Muslim. If you have accepted Muhammad (pbuh), please can you tell me whether Muhammad(pbuh) was a Shia ? He was a Muslim. Even Jesus, Moses and Abraham and all prophets were Muslims.

Prophet Mohammad peace be upon him said : " Oh,imam Ali your Shias would enter Heaven. Shias mean (followers , the muslim supporters of Ali to be the first successor after the prophet as God commanded) , Sunnis love Moawia and Amro Bin Al-Uss who fought the 3 sinless imams Quran purity verse chapter 33 verse 33 imam Ali, and his sons the grandsons of Mohammad s.w. imam Hassan,and imam Hussein in the battle of Soffein even though prophet Mohammad said whoever fights Ali is fighting me,and if you are fighting me you are fighting Allah praise be to Him.Prophet Mohammad s.w. said : " Oh,Ali whoever loves you is a believer ,and whoever hates you is a hypocrite ." See,the problem is the Sunnis follow the religion or the sect of their fathers,that is why they can not see clearly !!!!!! as we know they love Moawia and Amro Bin Al-Uss !!!!!!!

Brothers don't call yourselves Sunni or Shia, no such thing in Islam. Only call yourself a Muslim. Our Prophet SAW was a Muslim, he was not a Sunni or a Shia. Allah SWT says in the Quran not to break up your religion into sects and have no part with those who do break up, Allah swt will tell us all in the end who was right or who was wrong. May Allah SWT guide us all, Ameen JazakAllah

From an Islamic perspective i can agree with you in the fact that something he has been shown in Iran has totally changed this persons beliefs systems but it does not detract from the fact that at the moment Islam is the only true monotheistic religion and should be followed by all believers of an omnipresent-all knowing G-d.

The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu 'alaihi wa Sallam) also had a deep love for him(umar (rali) . Once he remarked, "were a prophet to come after me, he would have been Umar". In another Hadith mentioned in Bukhari, Hadrat Abu Hurairah (R.A.) narrated that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu'alaihi wa Sallam) said, "In Bani Isra'il (Israelites) there were people who were not prophets but talked to Allah. Were anyone in my Ummah (people) like those persons, he would be Umar".

I appreciate people like yourself who are open to things. Shia and Sunni problems, whatever they are, without going to the depth, are some thing we have WITH IN islam. Brother I assume you will shear the understanding with me that HIDAYA is only from Allah, and if so, Allah showed him the path to come to say SHAHADA, mashallah, Allah see intentions of a person (Inamal Amalu biniyyat), Allah show him and to all of the right path. But Like I have stated, I have read about them, I myself am a person who accepted Islam, after many years of being raised catholic, and becoming Buddhist, then atheist, studying science...etc. I just wanted the truth, and heck Akhi, I became Muslim once, but the Sunni Brothers here hardly helped me, and actually didn't care that I was losing faith when I asked for help. So I had to start again, going through rough and bad times, losing so much. (Continued below)

No, he said he heard sounds of ppl crying when he passed a house. It turned out to be a haunted house and later it caught fire and he said we did NOT burn the house.

Who said we don't?! She is as you said brother, the first to convert to Islam and the mother of the Prophet's decedents (a.s.).
