pholstein95 There are two similar "dive machine lite" type rides being constructed right now in Europe that use the same track gauge and seating configuration as Krake. The last time I was at Heide Park was before it was constructed. I would love to go back as I really enjoyed my two previous visits there.

Just had my very first ride on Griffon last week-- what a blast! A super fun coaster, especially on the outside of the front row. It's a drop you can't beat! I also really love the diving under the bridge moment, what an experience without even being on the ride!!

Loved this Rollercoaster. Last time I was on it it was very early in the morning, so we got to ride front seats several times before it got crowded. The part where it leaves you dangling right before the drop was definitely my favorite part

I love marathoning on this ride when I have the chance. It's been many years since I have gotten the chance to ride more than a dozen times in one sitting. Then again, I don't live close to the park and only visit once every five years or so.

No perfect coaster exists, but I think this one gets pretty close. Tall enough to be intimidating, but not so tall that some people would outright refuse (like with Intimidator 305). It's got two of the coolest party tricks in the entire park: front row hang time and a vertical first drop. It's got loops and intensity to provide a bit of grey-out for the more hardcore, but it quickly settles down at the brake run so it doesn't overwhelm the faint of heart. Pleasing the adrenaline junkies in its first half, apologizing to the more casual in the second. Add to that its good capacity and short lines (especially later in the day) and this has to be the most re-rideable coaster there.

yeah, I havnt ridden it because I haven’t really gone on bigger roller coasters before because I’ve been scared but now I think I’m gonna try some like this because it looks really fun and since there can be so many people in at once this looks like it wouldn’t have too long lines

@@mallory.22 The only way to stop being scared is to just do it. :P It doesn't get any more plain than that really. I would say go all in and ride front row your first try. This will expose you to the scariest part and desensitize you to it so you can hopefully be more ready to take on the other ones in the park.

Yes, griffon is a more adrenaline coaster and the height of the drop with a combination of the wait makes the drop better, but Apollo chariot is a better ride overall

I think you should totally give it at least one ride. Take a deep breath at the top and then let out all your air when you drop. This will help your stomach get used to the drop sensation, something I very, very rarely feel anymore. I think you will love the ride. Let me know how it goes!

You are welcome. I don't live in Virginia so I only visit Busch Gardens maybe once every five years or so. It's one of my favorite parks in the world. Definitely my favorite park on the east coast.

been on it. The g force at the bottom is like a fighter jet taking off. I remember when Alpghengiest had no line and we went on it four times in a row. I loved the first spin into a loop, then the second loop was nice too!! Those are two of my favorite rides their, and the lockness monster. I remember sticking my head down before the loop and couldn't get it up. it hurt until after.... Shouldn't have done that!!

@@malalaiasma240 I am not sure what the cost is to visit the park. It changes every couple of years, at least. It can be fairly expensive if you don't look for deals online.

b&m is certainely (i think it's wrong) not the best i mean yeah they built fury 325 at carowinds but they only have 2 family inverted coasters (still selling) in 2 parks in china there is yet another park to buy one of them comparing to the big leagues like intamin it's FULLY STACKED UP with models like the lsm launch, the family launch (or the straddle coaster idk), the multi dimension (not to be confused with the 4th dimension like x2 and eejanaika), and even the *hot racer*

It's a great ride. Love Apollo and Alpengeist also. I didn't care much for Tempesto as the "comfort collars" really dug into my shoulders when we were hanging upside down.

Hey Sean Flaherty, cool bit of information: the names of those sitting in the second row from left-to-right (when oriented face-to-face with the passengers) are: 1. Theron Corbin; although it took me a minute to recognize him in this, the hair and the Michigan (GO BLUE!) shirt did it. 2. Christopher Crews, Jr. who is the best friend I've ever had, going on 13+ years. 3. Me! William Good, I could point #2 and I out in ANY crowd, because guaranteed we were shoulder-to-shoulder. 4. I can't manage remember who else went with us that day (I'm sure it's a friend of my older brother), but I know that he's with us because he's sitting between myself and.. 5. My mother, Cresent Ramsey! That red shirt is actually how I realized it was us (on a Facebook post about 20 minutes ago), because she's worn it to pretty much every music festival she ever took us to.

This looks absolutely insane! The coolest thing to me about it, is that this ride seems to mimic how a giant Griffon might tease his riders as they climbed the sky! ha! Hoovering before the plunge...skimming his tallons across the surface of the water as they decended & swooped back up....Really cool! Great video!
