It makes his philosophical discussions about steel and the soul of a samurai rather funny when you imagine him saying one of Shang Tsung's incredibly hammy lines like "YOUR SOUL IS MINE!" Also, Akemi's voice actress is Brenda Song. The same young Disney actress that was London Tipton on "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" and the voice of Anne Boonchuy on "Amphibia."

You are totally correct btw, Alan Taylor who directed this episode is the same one from Game of Thrones. This show has some killer talent on it, and it is auch a pleasant suprise of a show.

the character work and plot twists in this show were so good that it really highlighted how juvenile and shallow the mizu/taigen romance is in comparison (in my opinion). like how is mizu, a notoriously unforgiving person, this into taigen within the span of a few days when she hasn’t warmed up to anyone else who saved her life on the same level, and why is taigen mad at her for abandoning akemi (objectively for her own good) when this entire situation kicked off because he ran from akemi? mizu just didn’t feel like getting involved in political drama over a stranger while being severely injured, but akemi is taigen’s literal fiancé …and mizu just listens to him call her a monster like a kicked puppy and broods over it…please let them bring back mizu of the first five episodes for next season 🙏🏽 and please table the forced tension of their “duel” taigen is obviously already into her and will not beat her in a fight

try watching Fowler march into the castle, and NOT think of the 501st taking the Jedi Temple. that's a Japanese 66 if I ever saw one.
