Thanks for this review. I'm looking for good information about this product, specially the features and the software, but for some reason on-ear headphones are considered non-premium and fail to catch the attention of good reviewers. This video is on point.

I’m glad I found this review. I’m looking for noise cancellation headphones and don’t really care much for the over ear style. Trying to get away from earbuds as they give me ridiculous headaches. Might go for these. Price is nice and the features seem awesome.

I just purchaced these today at Best Buy on sale 59.99 I absolutely love JBL products and these Headphones do not disappoint. For what you could spend on more expensive options, you are simply wasting your money. These have awseome sound, and they are comfortale. These are 5.0 stars in my book. Either bluetooth of use of aux cable, the quality of the sound is top shelf. The N C is great, no complaints. Buy these, they are just right.

I've been trying this headphones for a couple of days and they are very painful to wear they are way to tight on my ears and they have a weird bump in the center of the headphones that dig inside your ear

I got this and had the same problem with the glasses. The key is just using it enough eventually it stops hurting, all tho it is still uncomfortable from time to time. Hopped I helped someone with glasses that was esitanting to buy these.

Well, even DT 990 pro cause pain after a while, even they are barely pressing my head and sits gently. By the way, thank you for this comment, because I have Club 700BT, and I was looking those 460, if they cause pain, than I will just continue use my 700BT, they are so loud - geeeee

Got them in the mail today. They sound great, although I'm struggling to find out what's the purpose of a single beep sound once you put the headphones on, or take them off. I wish to turn it off somehow, it's extremely annoying.

It's the sound of pausing or resuming your playback. You cannot turn this notification off unless you switch off auto pause option in dedicated app.

@@Marcin-gr8ni switched it off and it was still an issue. Contacted the support and they didn't help as well. I'm unsure whether my pair of headphones had a malfunction, or the manufacturer inteded to have this annoying feature. Ended up refunding them, went for Bose instead.

Where have you seen the IPX5 level of water resistance? The only over/on-ear headphones that are IPX5 level waterproof are the Plantronics BackBeat Fit. The rest of the on/over-ear headphones do not even show the IPX level on their product catalogue. I've checked everywhere in the official site of JBL and in the websites of the shops that may be announce like that, and not even.

This is probably a mistake. We have these headphones and there is no IPX rating stated anywhere.

I'm not him but with experience with both I'd get the 660 unless I already had the 650 if that makes sense. If you already have 650 it's not worth upgrading. But if you don't jump up to the 660s.

Do they work with Microsoft teams and Skype, I have had an issue with JBL, they go to power save mode after 5 minutes on teams if you don't keep it active by touching a button. Also is 660nc better thank 460nc?

i have the 400 Model which the only difference i can see is the 460 has a longer battery life, the ambient aware mode is great that you can hear the music and still hear anyone that talks to you or if out in public walking you will still hear dangers like cars etc. i also use them sometimes at work in meeting and use them as hearing aids as with no music playing and on ambient aware or talk through mode and it picks people up very well, they do have a USB cable and audio cable with them so can be used as headphones plugged in as well. only problem i have had with mine (are around 18 months old and never been dropped or anything) was the volume up button on the headphone stopped working and when i opened them i found that 2 of the micro switches on the board had fallen apart (and by that i mean they had broken in half) one of the buttons i had only used twice and the other around 6 times. my advice is leave them on max volume and control level with what ever you are using them with like control volume on your phone etc. other than that i found they have good sound and good battery life in them. have advised JBL of the quality issue.

I bought a JBL headphone some months ago and lost the packing cover. But the jokers in JBL do not print the model number anywhere on the headphone. You have to use Windows settings to know the model.

I got these headphones for Christmas and they only left a week. It got really loose to the point where if you pick them up it would just go everywhere, plus my sister drop them and the sound audio was completely ruined

Question. How's the sound quality? Is there good bass? Is there clean highs? Just for clarity, you said that when you use the 2.5"' jack to plug the headphones directly in, ANC does NOT work at all? Not even with the battery charged? For me, this is VITAL as I use headphones connected to my Nintendo Wii U's screen when playing Mario Kart. The headphones I have right now have Active Noise Cancelling, which works perfectly while connected. If these JBLs bypass ANC when wired, then that's a deal breaker and quite frankly, rather silly of them to do that.

The ANC on these are below par but the sound is pretty good in my opinion. And I like having these smaller stealth headphones on rather that wearing my beats sometimes. Also, some good features on these headphones that are not available on some premium phones

got them recently heres some things i like and dislike about them likes: -good build quality doesnt feel flimsy -the app is rlly helpful -different eq modes -auto play/pause when u put them on and take them off -pairing is rlly easy dislikes: -REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE, i have a small head and small ears but after wearing these for only 5 mins i get a headache and the way they sit on my ears makes them sore and squashes my piercings -the placement of the buttons, maybe its because i havent had them for a long time but i find it difficult to find and figure out which buttons i am pressing while wearing them

Very sore to wear. Middle of ear cups have a pointy bit that digs into ears. Bluetooth volume is poor. Had to turn volume up to highest level.

@@eryos2361 Hi for the jbl headset I was forced to bring it back to the store given that these are a frequent problem on this type of headset and that there is no solution to repair it by ourselves if you have a guarantee and you can get a refund I advise you to go to marshall the (major IV) is perfect, does not let unpleasant noise through and is very comfortable

Maybe JBLs quailty has deteriorated over the years I had a pair off jb c45bt headphones that were alot cheaper than these about 3 years ago and there were mega loud i here alot off poeple complaing saying JBL ent loud anought no matter what model it is disappointing tbh really enjoyed my older c45 bt and there were only like £45 they could off done with a little more bass yh but the clarity and loudness was spot on

Anc headphones now sound nowhere as good as non and to me and most reviewers like z reviews and dms. Like them I would highly recommend grado fostex and Sony non anc headphones. There isn't a pair of noise cancelling headphones I recommend as they cause pressure on the ear drum, and potentially balance and other hearing problems. They also prevent one from hearing kids coworkers or bosses. Open back headphones like grasp would probably be the safest on the eardrum if listened to at low levels. But if one is using headphones and needs isolation and portability I would say the Sony 900 series from Japan. They are a reference set from Japan. Or try the new rode headphones and compare the two. The clamping pressure of jbl headphones is way too high. Sony and rode much less. Rtings gives clamp force of headphones and why anyone would buy with over 1 pound of clamp force they would have to be a masochist.

Of course no lag on wire. So this is really great option for gamers. And even though it's not mentioned in this video, when on wire you can still use ANC and stuff when they're on.

I just bought these Brand New on Amazon at their limited time deal price of $64.99 US. No $130 price for me. Gonna get a case for them also. They seem worth $130. These will be my first JBL products so I hope I like them. The ONLY thing I'm a little "meh" about is the (2.5mm) size audio jack over (3.5mm) but thats ONLY cause im not used to 2.5mm vs all my other headphones that are 3.5mm. It's still a headphine jack.👍😎👍

Don’t buy these, I’m wearing em right now and they’re literally perfect except for the sensors which pause/unpause the music when you take them on or off are horrible. Even when you have the headphones on in a perfect fit the headphones will randomly pause and unpause whatever you’re watching / listening too constantly and it’s paired with this annoying sound which gets tiring quick. This makes them literally unusable whenever the headphones decide to act up. And eating food with these on is impossible as the movement of your jaw triggers the pause / unpause feature. This feature makes the headphones go from a 5/5 to a 1/5. They have an app where they claim you can turn off this feature but it doesn’t actually turn it off.

This one was pretty much the worst headphones id had and have, the play & pause setting i turned off still makes the sound when it'd when it was on, and it comes if i open my mouth to talk or rotate my head, and it doesnt pause the music just remove the sound and plays that anoying sound instead in a split secend, very anoying. And when the headphones get tutched by something not ur hand it makes the same anoying sound or it starts google assists.
