@jamesburnside3023, Thanks James, I am truly grateful for your kind words and support. I'm just editing a video that I'm really excited about. Yesterday I rode on a steam train at the BC Forest Discovery Centre that is over 100 years old. They just did a complete restoration on this beautiful old machine. Can't wait to share it! @shaunpavery-pn5jq, gotta love fast jets! I saw a c130 in Comox. I filmed it, but wasn't happy with my footage. Today I was at a big truck show. Correct me if my terminology is off, in England it's called a Lori? I got some great footage and knew many of the truck owners and drivers. It was held at the BC Forest Museum, a stunning spot. Took a ride on a steam train that's over a 100 years old, too much fun. I will post the steam train video soon, it will be a a less complicated edit. Shaun, I am sincerely grateful for your always kind words and support, thank you. Love from Canada. Best...Corrie

Corrie this was a great video of Victoria harbout float planes. I have been there a few times visiting and have walked along the waterfront. This video has a great variety of planes coming and going on what looked like a beautiful day. Keep up the great work on the videos.😃

@robertwoodwardwoodward247, Robert, you are too kind, thank you. The support I've received on my channel still makes my head spin. I put my heart and soul into my work and am so fortunate that the KZfaq platform happened in my lifetime. It's remarkable how I post a video and KZfaq finds amazing people to watch it. The harbour at Victoria provides an amazing backdrop for these incredible machines. If you've walked the waterfront at Victoria harbour, then you know how narrow and long it is. Sometimes my vantage point can be excellent, sometimes I have to run like the wind to get to the other end of the harbour to catch a takeoff because the landings are at the other end. . It's rare that the planes takeoff and land at the same spot, it's really windy when that happens. It keeps me in shape....lol. Robert, I am truly grateful for your kind words, engagement and support, thank you. Best....Corrie

Here i am again watching seaplanes as posted by Corrie. The Kenmore Beaver is one of the last produced. The power increase of the PT 6 over the R985 means quite a safety margin which makes it easier to stay ahead of the drag curve.

@mothmagic1, safety is what it's all about. I do like the Kenmore Beaver. I didn't realize it was one of the last ones produced. Thanks for being the best helper ever. I am truly grateful for your always kind words, knowledgeable engagement and support, thank you. Best....Corrie

You are welcome to any information i can offer. The Kennore Beaver has to be among the last few built as production ended in the same year.

@mothmagic1, Ian, you've taught me an incredible amount about aviation, you're my rock. Your assistance has been invaluable. You came onboard when I had less than 100 subscribers, you're an original! It would be awesome if Viking Air decided to build Beavers too, somehow I think that ship sailed a long time ago. I am truly grateful for your always kind words, engagement and support. @@leftcoastcorrie I believe that was on the books at one time and would love to know what changed their corporate minds. I have to admit I've enjoyed the journey with you. Most of my knowledge is from books except for the little bit I know from personal experience.

@mothmagic1, this journey started with my camera in my hand. I knew nothing about editing and very little about aviation. I still have a long ways to go to on both. I look back at my beginner videos and chuckle to myself. I could have never imagined the great people that would come along with me and for so long. One of the best tips I received right at the beginning after watching hours and hours of "How to KZfaq" videos, be engaged with your audience and respond to every comment. On a really popular video, I can spend upwards of 6 hours a day responding to the comments. I know my sincere engagement is a big reason for my positive growth. I am forever grateful you are on this wild ride with me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Best...Corrie

Not so great if you live anywhere near the harbour. The noise can be appalling!!
@leftcoastcorrie

@AnnWhite-z1e, thanks for your engaging comment, I think we have a difference of opinion, and that's OK. Have you been near Pandora St lately? I would be more likely to complain about the continuous flow of emergency vehicles with their sirens blaring, that is truly appalling! I live near the harbour too and really enjoy everything about it. The harbour and it's activity have been here for decades and provide excellent employment opportunities. The harbour is an integral reason Victoria exists. The Coho sounds it's horn on arrival and departure, the bridge sounds it's horn upon going up and down, seaplanes make noise coming and going. It's kind of like moving beside the Swartz Bay ferry terminal or buying a home under a flight path. Then saying the noise and smell are obnoxious. Cruise ships sound their horns when they come and go. How long have you lived near the harbour? For the most part, harbour activity happens during daylight hours. I sincerely appreciate you stopped by my channel, thank you. Best...Corrie

@@leftcoastcorrie Thank you for your thoughtful comments. You are absolutely right and I appreciate your perspective. I agree that the problems around Pandora are appalling and we are lucky to live in such a lovely setting. Cheers, Ann

@AnnWhite-z1e, Anne, I couldn't agree more we are fortunate to live in such a lovely setting. Victoria is a stunning city. The harbour brings me endless hours of joy as the activity ebbs and flows. I've learned to steer clear of the "problem areas" around town. I am frustrated beyond words about the Pandora situation. I'm only a kilometre and a half away from "that place". My condos secure parking garage was broken into, one resident had his rear car window smashed, my fold up wagon and fold up bike were stolen just 4 days ago. What can we do about it? Short answer....NOTHING! I hope the person needs my things more than I do. Ok Corrie....stop! I could rant all day about the catch and release program we have and the negativity that is part of our daily life, but it doesn't fix any of it, especially my blood pressure. I will take a deep breath and enjoy the truly good things our city has to offer. Best....Corrie
