Phenomenal dive site and a great adventure. So far this season of ExpDren 83 episodes and they just keep getting better. Nate I loved the cool vibe on this edit and music it was a nice contrast to the other videos this season. The Solomons are so amazing. Thanks for sharing!

I only know of 4 verticle shipwrecks and this is one of them. The others are the HMS Victoria, a ww2 German ship in the baltic, and a German U boat of the coast of Norway. They are truly rare.

If you like vertical wrecks, try the one in Scotland. Rudder at 7m, bow wedged in the sand at 53m, the sea anemones are so beautiful as you go round under the hull and sea wall. Dark AF at the bottom mind as it's in some orrible water . Stunning wreck though.

By far the best opening scene any sailing or diving channel can have. Excellent cinematography, excellent editing, excellent narration and excellent wreck diving. Yes captain, special indeed! What a dive, this is a very special episode, vertical wreck dive that too - freedive in silence without bubbles you must have felt like entering a monastery, awesome! Well I must admit this is the first - it was really stressful to watch the shallow passage Sylfia passed through without running aground. That countdown “6m…, 5m…, 4m…, 3m…, 2.5m…, growing now....” Never felt so relieved to hear those words “it’s growing...”. You are the Captain! You deserve a salute, boy oh boy that was nail-biting. But the vertical wreck dive was soothing after that passage. A big thank you, for taking me on this memorable dive, I watched it many times in a loop. That wreck was meditation and you were like a floating Buddha. Very inspiring and calming, I like the way you live your life, eat, sleep, dive and repeat. Thank you Nate for sharing this magnificent wreck dive experience.

Yah, she's right, those ar pancakes. Crepes are super thin of course. And covered with sugar or cinimon. Delich. That said , those pancakes are making me VERY hungry, I'll throw some together as I'm cooking breakfast now in California of course. Wow, turned out great, with blueberries and pecans. stuffed myself. The wreck is mind boggling. I still say someone should start an underwater lab like "Aquarius" in Florida, but have it someplace like this. Especially if it was close enough to visit an underwater special wreck like this. Would be amazing to live in an underwater house with nice windows and no need for decompression.

I'm sorry you didn't have a couple of scuba videographers in the water while you were crossing over the shallow reef. For that matter, perhaps you need a way to view it live on a screen at the wheel.

Rondo in the Sound of Mull in Scotland is vertical. Bow in 55m and stern at about 4m depending on tide.

Marvelous dive and videography!!!!! A thought? When editing a shot of a particular sea denizen, if you are going to put the subject's name on the screen, see how long it takes to sound-out the name. Then, add screen time on top of that for oogling. What I find, for me, by the time I sound out the critter's name the image moves on to the next critter you show. I'm selfish. I want to know the critter's proper name as well as look at it. I know it will alter the editing rhythm you are working toward and it will affect the entire chain on critters in the montage. When you bring peanut to these island villages, does the villagers think your bringing fresh pig for dinner? This is a serious question, I'm sure a lot of them are shocked about having a pet pig ? Instead of dinner, some probably disappointed maybe?
