I encountered some real bad storms in that very area by Tasmania, we were picking uo zinc ingots down there, also the Australian Bight can be horrendous and I was on bulk carriers, on a sailboat I would ride it out in a nearby port. Take care down there.

@Expedition Drenched Of course Captain Nate. You guys are my kind of awesome. I've been a long-term conservation advocate for sharks, apex predators, and marine ecosystems. I'm not just a biologist though. I do a lot of wildlife art. I love the dive footage. I'm a big animal guy. LOL. Also a future voyager (meaning liveaboard water-triber). I've enjoyed watching you grow and Sylfia improve and move from crew to crew. You guys adventures, and well being always sit in heart and mind. Be well, be safe, and thrive! All of you! I made the mistake of diving without a wet suit south of Sydney. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr. That antarctic water is a wee bit chilly. Y'all have a good time and safe travels.

Guys, this is Mola Alexandrini (Bumphead sunfish), Mola Mola (Ocean sunfish) is a different species a lil smaller 😊 anyway very jealous! I spent 2 months diving on an island where they're common and didn't see any, lucky you!
