I was hunting up 20rd near Jackpot Lake a few years back with some friends. We heard what i can only describe as a scream/roar that we have NEVER heard before. Ive heard cougars scream before and this was no cat. To this day, hearing any recordings of it gives me the chills. 2 of us were combat vets and had no desire to stick around. We've spent countless hours in the woods out here and have never heard that sound. I live in Randle and would be willing to take you guys to the spot we heard it at.

Of course a Sasquatch screams! I have heard them before. I had my fair share of Sasquatch encounters. Wood knocking and doing some whoops actually does work. That Pulsar Thermal Imagery Camera works wonders! If you really encounter a Sasquatch, it’s best to conceal yourself. They got one hell smell! And if they feel something out of the ordinary and can sure hear them talk! And all i can say is Wow! It’s definitely and experience.

@@salishsasquatch I’ve been an on and off believer in Sasquatch throughout my 30+ years living in the NW. but moving to the cascade mountains and seeing tree branches braided in strange ways, tree forts in the middle of nowhere and hearing tree knocks, woops and howls has definitely changed my mindset as to the very real reality of these creatures. Along with the presence of Native American legends, and wood carvings/totems of these beings. They’re real.

The whole Cowlitz River from the headwaters to the mouth is a Squatch hotspot. I had an encounter 2 1/2 years ago above Blue Creek. Three were on the south side of the river, I saw one and only heard two from that vicinity. They were throwing rocks and making popping noises as well as breaking branches and making wood knocks and such. I reeled in and got out of there after I heard something walking in the rocks behind me. I got ahold of Cliff (I can’t remember his last name but he was on that Bigfoot show on history channel with BoBo and Matt) and told him that the Squatch I locked eyes with climbed a large fir tree across the river and he didn’t believe me. He said Sasquatch doesn’t climb trees. I went back the next day and I could still hear wood knocks and popping sounds as well as a big alder tree busted in half 10’ up the trunk and lying halfway in the river.

Overnight horse camping over 20 years ago. Fall weather lots of elk activity. Witnessing and hearing elk bugles all night, the horses did not respond one way or the other. The next morning everything changed. 1 bull came into the perimeter of camp staying out of sight and started bugling. Pretty cool, until my solid experienced mountain goat of a horse turned manic and began scream whinnying, a sound I hadn’t heard before, sprouted eight legs and lost his mind. I believed at the time it was an angry elk for it sounded like it but couldn’t wrap my head around a territorial elk guarding his territory from humans and horses. Stayed with us pretty much to the parking lot, harassing us when we stopped to watch it come in close. It wouldn’t and got louder so I keep riding out and the calls stopped but my horse kept telling me it was following us. 3 times I stopped to wait for it to show itself before giving it up and riding out. It was an annoyingly uncomfortable ride and as we came closer to my trailer, everything stopped and returned to normal. It was exhausting.I didn’t think anything Sasquatch, never even entered my mind. Ten years later, I hear a vocalization that changed my world as I knew it, but it took another ten years to actually look for information. I’ve not seen a Sasquatch but feel confident that I’ve had unseen encounters. The knowledge of the people’s encounters I hear, aligns up with my own.

Use of Red illumination isn’t for the animal per’se, and it’s used by the military because Red illumination protects one’s night vision. You should truly consider Red lights at night to ensure your vision is not compromised when a BF allows itself to be openly seen. Just saying. Seems like the use of a white light would be an easy blame when it could have been avoided. White light has its place in these scenarios but it’s not tactically sound IMHO.
@salishsasquatch
@salishsasquatch 2 ай бұрын
I understand your perspective, red lights are preferred and used by some of our friends. We, however, have had better luck by just doing regular human things as opposed to looking and acting like it’s a military operation. We get a lot of activity and we never use red lights. Can’t really say the same for those that use red lights.

Unless they are familiar with the clan. We have a family group here and they are not scary. They keep to themselves. I would like to think that I can keep my wits about me if I were to see one 80 feet away

My only concern is government or secret operations using your information to locate the hairy people to exterminate them. My only concern is thier safety. The whole world isn't our playground and the forest isn't our natural place, but it is thier home. It just saddens me when i hear about them being hunted and harmed as they are people and they deserve to thier right to exist.

Gotta be a better more practical way to carry out a set of antlers that doesn’t involve a massive risk of being shot lol (referring to photo)

All the fur found over the last 70 years ended up being from bear and other wild game. This is just a bunch of dorks playing in the forest.

@@salishsasquatch I saw it. Clicked on it. I just came here to talk shit. I'm right tho and you know it deep down. If you just want an excuse to get out into the forest, just do it, go. There's no real hard evidence that big foot is real. It's an old fake story derived from the native Americans.

You’re wrong. You’re obviously ignorant on the subject, just deciding to speak on something you have no knowledge on. There’s tons of evidence, you’re just not lucky enough to see one.

It always amazes me how many of you are so curious, but are so scared when they do make themselves known. Just saying , but the likelihood of them approaching a large group is almost non existent. Every encounter I have had I have been alone, or with only one other and in remote area with running water. They migrate, The ones that smell are not well. Explaining this would take up alot of space on here. They are very curious. HINT: I leave a lit flashlight laying out on a stump or tree. They won't take it. But they will pick it up and look at it. I have probably said to much.

We have had quite a few encounters where there was a large group of us and they surrounded our camp. Not all of them migrate either, the ones that live by us are here year-round. This is confirmed with audio recordings. I also disagree with you about them smelling, I think that he depends on what they ate or what they got into, or crossing a river or creek. I’ve only smelled them a few times and it smells like a skunky sewage smell
