Darkside is the goat. Looks great, lasts long enough and its easy to apply. Once its nice and dry it gives the tire tat deep new matte look.

I moved to Darkside from Meguires Endurance a month ago, have just done a particularly wet UK winter and I cleaned the wheels and tyres today, they look great, they just look fresh, no browning, they just look black, which is exactly what I want out of a dressing

Just came across this tire video. I’m currently testing Darkside and the new 3D ceramic matte tire protector. Darkside is slightly glossier compared to 3D on initial application. I also find Darkside a little more even on tire. I’ll be putting them on my 3 vehicles and trying them out. I used to use perle but it just doesn’t last more than a few days. Great video

Hello Steve, nice to talk to you again. Overtime I have found that Tire shine or dressing is difficult and very subjective to the type of sidewall, tires age and condition etc.. Even the look changes after driving 30mins in dry condition, imagine a week later. I have a new tire dressing video soon stay tuned. Darkside is really good but has been blotchy in my last testing on Michelin PS4's velour sidewall. Cheers and let me know how it works for you. ✌️

I have Perl and Darkside. I like Darkside but find it finicky to apply. Perl diluted 1:1 is easy to use, doesn’t last very long, but honestly I clean my wheels and tires generally every wash so it’s not a big deal for me to reapply.

Yeah PERL is really good on a well maintained Tire, its a staple. Try Darkside with a thick foam it goes on smooth and fill really nice works on every tire. Gotta give it 2 hours to dry, maybe if temperatures outside arent favorable it doesn't work for you? I always used it inside, cheers my friend.

I use Carpro Pearl, Dark side and Black out. I found Black Out not giving. A very deep new tyre look. Pearl is great but does not long. Dark Side is giving an even better look, stays a long time. It is a no brainier number one of all.

Check out the dura dressing. Very long lasting, and no more sticky oily dust attracting etc.

Come to the Dark Side.. I love it, and man the smell of it.. My only gripe with it it's that I don't know why but my bottle or the pump leaks? Needed to seal it in a baggie, and closing the pump is always problematic for me (spillage) but other than that it's amazing, the look, the durability, it's just dope! Cheers for a great review

Yeah it's amazing, in fact they're 3 top products, I'd add Armour Detail supply Tire+ to the list for finish & scent, i'll have another tire shine video soon stay tuned. Btw I think your pump might have an problem because I've not experienced this. Maybe it's stuck half way or something, try to pull it back up? Sometimes we're just unlucky with these things, I had my share of bad sprayers too. Cheers my friend, thanks again for watching. ✌️

@@Detailing_Dogma Oh and i forgot man i like your car, it's awesome, im a huuuge Bmw fan, currently i've got G42 230i (im a poorboi, wished for 240i or M-power but out of my price range) in Portimao Blue with Msport pack, and maan i love this car :) I also had a E92 with the 6cylinder engine and that was a beast :)

Darkside looks not uniform to me,that will be the reason I choose the other two.

darkside needs 2 hours to dry/cure might be why, when freshly applied they all look slightly uneven because of this particular rubber, again they need to air dry for a while. michelin ps4s seems like it doesnt absorb dressing all that good upon application. Thanks for watching!

J'essai présentement le gyeon express parce que je peux l'appliquer sur le pneu qui est encore humide, ca m'évite l'étape du séchage. Ca donne un look très luisant lors de l'application mais devient assez mat quand il est sec, très satisfait. Le seul bémol est que la bouteiile de 1 litre est trop grosse, difficile de la tenir dans la main lorsque l'on veut déposer le produit sur l'applicateur que l'on tient dans l'autre main, plus facile quand la bouteille est sur le sol.

bon points Jean-Marc, personnellement j'aime bien le semi-gloss donc j'ai tendance a laisser le pneus secher avant Tire Express, c'est bon de changer de temps en temps. Au final ils sont tous bon, j'ai essayer DIY Tire Lotion, très bon également. A bientot JM

You should try Garage therapy tyre serum, imo better than those 3 which I have used.

Is this available outside UK now? Seriously im sold on PERL and Darkside but there's so many good tyre dressing out there! PERL has a huge plus when it comes to dilution for plastic, engine bay and exterior plastics, versatile and reliable. Cheers my man and thanks for the tip.

You mention gyeon is abit blotchy but supposed to apply wet, have you tried wet and is it still blotchy?

Hey my friend, gyeon tire express eventually dry not too long after and look perfect. Upon application yes but carpro DArkside has similar effect, most likely the blame is on the Tires, michelin PS4s has velour sidewall and takes some time to absorb the dressing. Actually applying Tire express to dry tire will give a more shiny finish which I kinda like from time to time. Cheers

Use carpro perl for this, Darkside is solvent based and thicker by nature i wouldnt do it on the trims although you could give it a shot yourself, I have not! Thanks for watching

if you're talking about the foam block that I used to apply Darkside it's from a Microfiber ceramic coating applicator that I cut with scissors and remove the foam for other purposes just like this one. Let me know if that answers your question
