"I am going to find the answer. If this means driving every back road... I will do it." After three civil rights workers went missing in Mississippi on June 21, 1964, Rita Schwerner (the wife of missing Mickey Schwerner) played an important role in getting the press and the nation to pay attention to the case.

Rita Schwerner also had a huge conversation with LBJ on the phone where the President complained about her lack of respect in addressing him, LBJ was not happy with her tone of voice. and her accusing him and the Justice Department of dragging their feet in trying to find the 3 missing civil rights workers.

When former Deputy Cecil Price died in 2001 at his place of residence he was transported to the same hospital where they kept the bodies of James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, and Michael Schwerner. It's scary to think that not only has Deputy Cecil Price betrayed the public trust, but he was trusted by the American people to protect society, and then turned around and took advantage of the very people he was sworn to protect. As a law enforcement officer, he is held to a higher professional standard than a civilian. Deputy Cecil Price held two positions he was both the Police and a KKK member at the same time.

Honey, where did you come up with that idea? Race relations in this country are far worse than they were during Freedom Summer. I mean, fifty years after the death of Dr. King and this is still going on? Yes, I love America but there are some serious issues in this country that we need to solve.

Who asked for it? The civil rights workers who were in Mississippi trying to get black Americans registered to vote? Are you siding with the racists of that time period who were suppressing the rights of black Americans with intimidation, violence, and outright murder under the Jim Crow laws? If that's not what you mean then I think you had better re-phrase your comment, because without context that is what is coming across.
