Funny, in this poor region of Kalimantan Rubber trees aren’t profitable anymore and in southern thailand i saw them planting thousand’s of new rubber plantations a month ago.

Often it has sth to do with pricing by the government. Sarawak government made pepper, cocoa, rubber and other stuff unprofitable some years ago

Where I live in Hawaii they call that invasive fern a False Stag Horn Fern or Ūlūhe.. And yes they love crappy soil! Lol
