Christian Longo decided that he no longer wanted to be the loving father and husband that so many people believed that he was. He wanted to go back to a time when he was young and single. He wanted to travel the world and be free of his familial responsibilities. In order to do that, he needed to get rid of his wife and kids.

If you are a victim of domestic abuse, please reach out to someone for help. Please call the national domestic abuse hotline at 1-800-799-SAFE. That’s 1-800-799-7233 or go to thehotline.org to chat with someone online. The great thing about this website is that, at any time, hitting the escape key twice will instantly take your browser to a google search page. In the event the abuser is nearby, you can ensure that you don’t get caught trying to get help.
If you are having feelings of harming yourself or someone else or even just need someone to talk to, please contact your local mental health facility, call 911 or call Mental Health America who operate the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK. That’s 1-800-273-8255. They’re available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If you want to get rid of a Jehovah's Witness at your door, don't bother hiding. They'll keep coming back. What you do is tell them that you were a JW, but are now ex-communicated or disfellowshiped. They won't want anything to do with you. You're welcome.

I was a Jehovah Witness for 10 years, I'm disfellowship also. It was the hardest walk I ever had in life and almost destroyed myself. My children suffered also, we weren't good enough and when I got deathly sick there wasn't no one there to help me. I learned some good from it. I refuse to go back cause you can't talk to anyone until the elders say you can. I feel they are imperfect also and they are not Jehovah. I chose to stay away and let God take care of it. Some people go crazy trying to be up to their standards.

@Chandra Cox It's good to know that your mother escaped that cult & you grew up unsullied by such craziness. My paternal granddaddy was somehow [a black] JW - our mandatory attendance at the KH though was an energy-draining affair that put me & some of the ancient ones to sleep, from which even being just 8 I was happily left out of - but the only thing I unforgettably remember him lashing out about was when me & my 2 sisters got gifted a board game called Ka-Bala; the old man blew his stack & hit the attic ceiling on that, near to foaming at the mouth as he raged about that game - & then, us being under their roof at the time, proceeded to destroy it. I could only hope that this episode didn't hasten the heart attack that took him away when I was only 9, but after that Granny had his entire basement office cleaned out & all JW material got the File 86 treatment, & we all "shunned" them with the quickness. If only Mary Jane had done likewise with this pathetic Lipless [Blu]nder as well as that cult! M.T.A.R.E.I.P. & this utter monstrosity get what it deserves, Real Soon.

My high school boyfriend was an ex-JW and he was incredibly charming and charismatic which I think had a lot to do with his upbringing and how he was trained to proselytize at a young age. He was definitely a good person and didn't use his charm to trick people but I can totally see how that sort of upbringing could make someone an excellent con artist.

People just understand a person like him and how they can do these things without an ounce of empathy. I was dating a psycho like Chris. He was on top of me, bending my arm over my head, getting ready to break it… I was laying there and stared straight into his eyes and they were completely black and blank. Nothing there. This is only one situation. Monsters do exist. I met one when I was young as a parent and unfortunately continued the cycle until I was almost strangled. Only reason h didn’t was because everyone would know who did it and he loved himself enough to not go to prison. These guys plan. They have a mask that they have that makes them appear normal, funny, good looking, and they are SMART. They are people who no one would EVER EVER expect to be sooooo evil. The closest too you. I am terrified being with a man alone. That’s when the mask comes off and no one is around to see it so no would EVER believe you if you said what they did. My dad was a monster . MONSTERS do exist. @@thisisMONSTERS you are 100% right. Also women are not allowed any leadership role in the congregations. They can never be an “elder” which is what the male leadership are called. They hated my mother was married to an outsider especially because my father was a philosophical, science loving hippie. Of course my father did not convert and only showed up to the “memorial” (essentially Passover). We were threatened to be “disfellowshipped” because of it. They would use me to knock on doors at 8 years old because people were less likely to slam the door in our face and were more likely to take their watchtower and awake magazines. You’re not allowed to hangout with “worldly people”, but also not allowed to receive blood if you need it. We weren’t allowed to celebrate birthdays or holidays because it’s worldly. My mother began to feel bad for us and eventually left. Those are just the sprinkles on top of the cultish sundae that some people eat up. Hope of everlasting life here on earth when Jehovah and his 144,000 souls from earth wipes out the wicked making earth a paradise for our dead Jehovah Witness relatives to be resurrected. What a crock of crazy. There were some very good people, but they were brainwashed. Anyway I love your channel . You’re a great story teller. Keep up the great work!
