I think I heard somewhere that they were heading to West Africa at the beginning of Season 2. it could eventually all be leading right back to the BioSyn Valley.

Yeah you are right, cos obviously in West Africa they did find the argetinasaurus at least some remenants but south Africa if they go there which I think they will, they gonna niggasaurus. It was in one of the diary dr.wu had on one of the books. Highly recommended, cos its based on the show cos the guy leaked the scripts as well.

For those out of the loop, these will probably be the dinosaurs that haven't appeared yet and that will appear in season 2, Orange Suchomimus and Stegosaurus don't count because we already saw them in season 1. Majungasaurus "Major" (there will probably be two) Atrociraptor "Red" Apatosaurus and Baby Apatosaurus Dilophosaurus Monolophosaurus Ceratosaurus (there will probably be two Ceratos) Baby Velociraptor Baby Compsognathus The rest is my speculation, based on rumors that came out months ago, and minis toys from mattel. Kentrosaurus (Toy) Mosasaurus (Toy) Triceratops (Rumors) Giganotosaurus and Pyroraptor I believe will appear in season 3 or 4, For those who don't know, they are in the minis collection and each one has a card.

Bajadasaurus and Mapusaurus also have rather stylized looking figures in the Chaos Theory line. Could that mean that they’ll also get appearances? The chances are about fifty-fifty. Only one way to find out.

It's sort of a false narrative to say it was renewed, the seasons are made in 20 episode batches this is just the second half of season 1.
