Glad to see Karn again! I’m sad he doesn’t have more screen time in the series. I still want to know more about his connection with Ren’s mother.

I'm a bit confused by the dying deer showing up out of no where. Yeah she was shown earlier but why was there a stick stuck in her? There were a few other similarish moments where stuff didn't make sense but overall this show's awesome and I love the story. Good acting too, even if the fight was a bit silly and that they left survivors was really stupid from a tactical perspective.

A good person will only kill in defence and a defeated person is no threat. Seems silly, but that is the meaning of good in opposite of evil.

Agree, (made little sense and was too convenient) there was definitely cut too much there to fit the 15 min episode format I would guess :) Those survivors were also very dangerous but it seems it will not have real effect on the story after all considering the rest ... either way you have to leave survivors if you want to convince the world you are really not the evil one here :)

@@JanHavel I suppose that makes sense if they're trying to hit a specific episode length, though personally I'd prefer they just made their episodes as long as they have to be. It's not like youtube would force them to keep to a 15 minute episode length... that'd only really make sense for tv. As for them trying to convince the world that they're not evil by sparing their enemies, I address that in the other reply I wrote here, but tldr, I think they caused more harm this way than if they'd just grabbed a chopping block and promptly beheaded all the soldiers. Now the bad guys know where they're going and they know which villagers opposed them. Had they killed everyone those villagers could have gone back to a mostly normal life, but now they all need to go into hiding or they'll get recaptured and likely executed for treason.

@@beskamir5977 I dont think it would had effect as I mentioned - those soldiers werent aware where they are going (they even said so) - they had to backtrack to the last village they were before the attack and question locals which would have been the same if that unit dissapeared completely and they had to backtrack from their last known position. Most significant is it for that tavern lady becase they can identify here but it would have been safer for her to go into hiding anyways and thats probably true also for the other captives (locals would talk about them anyways too).
