If you are just starting, then chances are you won't be able to get the legendary axe this season just due to how the drop rate works. This has some effect on your Embellishment and Unique Effect item choices, but not much is different beyond that. Without the axe, you won't have an automatic way to proc the fire rings, which makes a single shadowflame more valuable for that purpose to get at least some value out of Eranog's ring. Broodkeeper's ring is also likely not BiS without a legendary axe. It doesn't have any talent implications and secondary stat implications are minor at best without the axe (and probably aren't worth worrying about). Class/spec changes have also been minimal this entire expansion for BDK; other than some changes to overall baseline damage and armor, the only change of consequence was a 20% damage buff to Soul Reaper, which did make it see more use in raid content, to be fair.

There are a LOT of trinkets in play this season; Unlike some other options, Pip's isn't particularly overbudgeted for its item level and it is split among three different stats (and provided in a stat DR unfriendly way). It's definitely above-average for the trinket pool overall and a good placeholder, but it does not look competitive for an end-game setup.

Yeah, I haven't been too thrilled with the audio quality either. At the end of the day, I think there is no software-based solution and I just need to get a new mic; I'm already using a number of effects to try and reduce it, but it just isn't getting the job done to a satisfactory level. So, I'll go buy something that is a little more effective for future videos.

@kyrasis. I don’t know which Editing Software you are using but DaVinci resolve studio has an amazing Voice Isolation tool internally. You can almost cleanup someone speaking at a trainstation it should handle the static just fine. Not sure if it’s included in the free version.

Well, it should first be said that I'd very much try to kill heroic fyrakk every week if possible. Given that, you **could** bullion a ashkandur for a placeholder. No other unique effect weapons of note for BDK.

Embellishment gear is 525 ilvl and Normal Max ilvl is 528. The early wowhead posts saying there was a larger than normal ilvl gap between the two ended up being a temporary error on Blizzard's end. As such, there's no larger gap than usual. You are correct that, in isolation, 3 ilvls lost on chest is less preferable than 3 ilvls lost in other slots (such as jewelry), but the strength of the chest's embellishment effect in addition to it having a good natural statline (and in our natural off-tier slot) more than outweigh that for this season, similar to last.
