It's not random, they explain in the patch notes that it pulls from existing player's loadouts. Still doesn't stop some quirky shenanigans like for example I've had a no oc/attachment shard difractor one time and another time a super scuffed double barrel build with zero perks equipped:p

​@@dove9834 For a moment I thought I misread the official patch notes but they don't mention that. That makes sense though so I'll take your word for it. That being said, it's kind of a lame way for the beer to work. At least we have a randomize button in the loadout terminal now. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm curious, how would a resupply have helped? He had plenty of sentry, primary, and secondary ammo before he called the first one. The only benefits I see to an earlier resupply is more grenades and health, but he didn't die or use the grenades to kill the bulks so it seems fine to me. I'm trying to learn and improve so why would and earlier resup have helped?

Dropping a resupply pod on enemies (and dwarves) deals massive damage. You just have to time it

Seems like a greenbeard comment. It's obvious to me that killing the detonators is not a priority for him. From the moment they spawn, he's focused on killing more urgent mobs such as macteras and the menace. After the wave is cleared he just goes back to building pipes while letting Bosco and the turrets finish the detonators. It's not all over the place, it's just being time efficient, because there is no point in killing the detonators. They don't threaten him in any way. The menace is the one that came close to killing him. You can tell the situation is dire when he decides to use red sugar even though he knows he's about to resupply. It was more important to get the resupply at a safe location than try to kill the detonators with it. There's a time for showing off, but that was not it. I can tell you for certain that his gameplay is streamlined so that the detonators don't prevent him from running objectives, he doesn't think twice about ignoring them.

Calling resupply on constantly moving targets is a hail mary among hail marys if you exhausted other strategies, especially when things move as fast as they do on Haz 5. It's just not practical when 300+ other things are unraveling all at the same time. Dude also said in an older video he prefers high octane play so cheesing strats like that I guess aren't as fun or satisfying.
