Yes it does, you can customize how many secondaries you want and blacklist ones you dislike. You're getting it confused with the deep dive secondaries mod, which only adds the deep dive secondaries to the secondary pool for missions.

Out of everything in this video, the information that shocked me the most was at 3:50, when I learned that you can freeze Ebonite Glyphids to give more power attack damage

I don't think this is a new or different opinion, but I am quite interested in fighting and engaging with the new enemies soon. To me, sationary enemies have been a category that seemed to somewhat blend in with the rest of the enemies after getting used to them and dealing with them for a few years now. Seeing the plan to add more sationary enemies made me open up my eyes a bit, and in the next couple of months, those enemies will make me think a little bit more about how I approach the entrance to the cave that I encounter them in. This new challenge gets a thumbs up from me.

@@jmann6368 Remember, it's supposed to be an enemy "tries" to outsmart dwarves and *pose a danger*. Not be always surprising when it comes and be run ending. Edit: ok it's supposed to be surprising but maybe not too strong.

I came back to the game because of this announcement, super glad they delayed rogue core to have the last season before that comes out (hopefully) be good. My first mission when I was back on haz 5 with randoms was with the haunted cave mod, it had a corruptor, a meteor shower, a korlok and a naturally spawning dreadnought, it was super fun.

I do hope the new overclocks are at least good. My favourite thing about DRG is build variety and how unique the overclocks can feel, but it really dampens my enjoyment when the unique playstyle is also worse than no overclock at all.

Im absolutely stoked about the lack of crate bloat. I started in s4 and i think its extremely frustrating that i am 400 hours in and barely chugging through crates because im also being thrown the last 3 seasons of cosmetics.

With the announcement that season 6 may well take 2 years, I really want them to go all out with a final update instead of season 6. Give us a new biome, maybe new guns, and add a new final boss type mission where we have to fight a glyphid queen, then go full steam ahead on rogue core. Let the game go out in a blaze of glory.

Noticed you are using drills on small ores. Is that for better yield, is it faster, or is it just for funs?

It doesn't really do anything different. A vain of nitra yields the same amount regardless of how you mine it. The most efficient way is to use your pickaxe because that takes no ammo. The only reason I can think of for him doing this is for fun.

For bismor, umanite etc. it's usually a bit faster with drills. Plus more fun.

@@garikek for umanite and holomite just PPA the base. For other smaller vein minerals like bismor PPA the middle and just mine tge leftovers. The only time drilling a mineral vein is worth it is when you have large veins of nitra, gold, morkite, etc. You drill behind them to the middle of the vein then whenever you mine you break off more with each mine. Drilling umanite, bismor, dystrum, holomite, etc. Is just a waste of drill fuel.

Invisible stalker enemies aren't exactly an original idea, y'know. Everyone is saying "WOAH SICK HELLDIVERS REFERENCE!!" when, 1. The Devs talked about the Stalker way before Helldivers II came out, and 2. Invisible enemies have been a thing since forever. Like the... well, Stalkers, from Borderlands 2. Would you say Helldivers ripped off Borderlands? Maybe. It's hard to make something completely original anymore.

I disagree about the secret objective thing. Personally I want there to be no indication whatsoever (until you collect some of it of course) about what the secret objective is. This means it's something that you have to actually pay attention about and be vigilant with discovering/finding, as secondary objectives should be. Plus it wouldn't be very "secret" if the game just immediately told you what the tetriatery objective is the second you showed up.

How long were you around for DRG? Updates were always like this. A new mission type or new enemy was a _huge_ deal back in the day. And yeah, sure, there were possibly more exciting updates like new weapons, but remember that something like new weapons required over a year to make. This isn't really too far off from their usual development speed. Not sure why people are acting surprised.

Not an exciting update. Will new weapons be added in the future? Instead of giving players more things to do, developers need to give players more options to play. If you develop with this mindset, I don't think you can expect anything more from DRG. I would like to see more room for players to experiment with the game's content. This cannot be achieved by increasing the number of tasks.
