Glad I found your video! The seats in my ‘24 Forester Wilderness are extremely uncomfortable. That said, I went ahead and bought them, and I can’t get them to fit…Particularly the one close to the transmission tunnel. The seat jacker once installed, does not align with the hole of the seat rail. It’s off by close to 5mm. That seat also has a pin that goes in the floor, and that pin doesn’t clear the seat jacker. I don’t know how you got yours to work. Can you post a more in depth video or some photos on how you got everything to align? I really need this mod to work, my legs and knees are hating me when driving this car. Thanks in advance!

My concern is that when I raise the power driver seat, the seat also moves forward. Will this modification correct that by allowing me to keep the seat at its factory lowest height, while raising it in actuality being an inch higher. Also, what about collision safety, insurance, and Subaru warranty?

Yeah, it does what you want. There won’t be an issue with anything else.

How do you lift the front jack points without misaligning the rears? Won't this have them set at an awkward angle and bend them?

Good question! It’s only a few degrees. Enough to improve comfort and yes the rear mounting points just bend a little. I’ve installed them on both of my Foresters. No biggie.

Should be Subaru factory bolts to fasten jacker to floor and new Desert bolt for chair to jacker ??

No, the new bolts are longer because they have to pass through the thick aluminum spacer before engaging the threads. The shorter factory bolts still go through the thin steel before engaging with the threads in the aluminum spacer.
