Today was a real fun day with not too much traffic - had much fun with M Gott in his fast Schirmer M3...this time chasing me down till we got stuck in traffic again - check out his channel too.

Nice Video Thilo! it's reallay interessting to see, that Leon is faster straight line! BMW seems to have better breaks. The corner speed is pretty the same.

The leon has a lot more torque than the M3 hence it pulling away on straights but the m3 makes up for it everywhere else!

Yes, horsepower has little to do with it. Horsepower determines your Vmax, i.e. your top speed. Torque determines how quickly you reach that top speed.

That BMW is actually a M3 CSL! A normal m3 e46 wouldn't have a chance. But still, for 17 years car with seat heating, it deserves some respect. Just imagine Thilos Cupra after 17 years trying to chase the top sport hatchbacks from VW...

haha okay .. yes i LOVE this view so much .. thats why i loose concentration sometimes because i watch too often in the mirror .. the view of the following car looks just awesome. and YES .. more of those videos are coming the next days.. it´s planned to have some hot laps with my megane friends ;) ...and the other two videos with the porsches were like that ..

I think the M3 has better brakes that's why he becomes closer entering the corners but on the exit the Cupra fwd helps aginst the rwd because he can put 100% of the gas pedal sooner

Hallo Thilo ! Warst ja mal mächtig unter Druck. Auch BMW können schnell sein. Ich denke du brauchst noch ein paar Pferdchen mehr, damit du solche Autos auch im Griff hast. Heiße zwar Cupra 350, aber seit einer Woche sind es wahrscheinlich zwischen 365 + 375 PS. Konnte keine Leistungsmessung machen, da Winterreifen. Werde es aber im Frühjahr nachholen. Tip zur Leistungssteigerung Ansaugung VWR 600. Bring wirklich was. Wie immer super gefahren, bis zu deinem nächsten Video.

ja so soll das sein .. mit ähnlich schnellen verrückten macht es am meisten bock . leistung bringt auf der rennstrecke nicht soviel .. da kommts mehr auf die gesamtperformance an. R600 hab ich .. aber schätze nicht das das wirklich viel bringt ;)

yes ... it was fun .. but he could let us pass .. would be more fun for everybody. the m3 was a buddy .. we had another nice lap when i followed him .. its pretty interesting to compare the lines and different concepts .. :)

His driving (Megan guy) was decent but that was not what I'm talking about, I talk about Megane, really looks great (must be red/black coloru combination and it got nothing with me as AC Milan fan...) ;D

Danke! Ausschliessen möchte ich es nicht .. aber da die Zeit meist etwas begrenzt ist und es gerade passen muss (meistens in der gruppe unterwegs etc.), kann ich es leider nicht garantieren. wenn du mich nochmal siehst sprech mich einfach an .. vielleicht klappt es ja mal! vg

well .. its not really like this .. over the whole lap he got closer and closer .. so he is faster :) i had another lap with moran .. following him .. its so cool to "compare" different concepts and slightly other lines !

How come the rear image is a mirror of the forward facing image? Look at right hand bends in forward image that are left in rear image? Look at number plates of cars behind. They are backwards.

+droceretik yes it's a rear facing cam .. but I mirrored it because it's confusing when u Pass a car .. it's disappearing on the front right and then appearing on the rear left .. and curves in different directions.. so I did it like that , like you have it in a car 👍🏼

I may be the only one who noticed it but I disagree that it would be confusing if you left it as filmed. In my car the rear facing camera captures videos and images naturally where you can read signs and number plates without having to perform some mental exercise to correct it. Also, on a road car, it is essential to capture images that can be submitted to an insurance company, police or a court. The lanes on a road are reversed so in the case of incident or accident footage, it would be more difficult to interpret. Racing may have different requirements but does everyone who captures rear footage reverse the video horizontally?

of course all cams capture it the normal way .. i mirror it when i cut the videos in post. its just more "onboard feeling" because its like you are sitting in the car .. with front .. steering wheel (in my other vids) and the rear mirror .. many guys told me to mirror it to get a better feeling of the track :)

maybe at that time, the cupra has less horse power comparing to now, it was easier to drive and give you more confidence on entering the corners. You were using the track limit and floor it earlier to go as fast as you can！！

you gave the answer in your question ... MIRROR ;)) its confusing when you dont mirror it .. because you overtake somebody .. he disappears on the front right .. and appears on the rear left .. like i edit it, its the same like in a car .. rear mirror :)

this works like a mirror got it, but.. i have only focused to rear cam in video and this is also confusing. for example,in karussell turn e46 was turning to right, my brain said what the hack :)

yes ... i am always little bit to early on the brakes .. the abs is not soooo perfect .. sometimes you have problems when you are too late on the brake .. so i always have to have that 10% more space ;)

420 nm 😂😂😂😂 niemals Du hast definitiv mehr so wie der läuft! die meisten haben ja Serie schon einiges über 300 Ps und 400 NM Bei einem Test Golf R brachte die Ansaugen 24 Ps ubd glaube 35 nm Thilo fahr mal auf die Rolle😉 da wirst Du warscheinlich erschrecken 😈 im positiven!

leistung wird überbewertet .. und so ne ansaugung bringt niemals 24ps ;) .. es gibt genausoviele dyno tests wo das rein gar nix gebracht hat .. aber werde irgenwann wirklich mal auf die rolle gehen. aber wie man in den zahlreichen videos sieht .. selbst autos mit 200 ps mehr kommen nicht bombig weg wenn man aus den ecken nicht rauskommt .. das ist der schlüssel . nicht die leistung ;)

U have choose the slowest FWD Car on the Ring. And you drive a DSG transmission, which shows u aint good driver.
