Hi, Great video indeed, can we use any silicon lube or it has to be food grade? Friends has different system and they are telling me to use food grade, but the video suggests automotive silicon line (can't see well, the image is not clear for me) Thanks in advance, prepping to do a membrane change in a couple of days :)

We have an older SWP system that is different to what you showed.

@3:55 time stamp, he shows the end of the element with the outer O-ring being installed at the end that the water goes in, if I am understanding him correctly. That seems backwards to me. I thought that the water would go in the open end & the Oring end would prevent the brine from mixing with the product water that comes out the center. Am I misunderstanding how he is doing it? Or am I misunderstanding how the element works in the housing?

Where ca we get the stainless steel caps as upgrade you spoke of? I do not see them on your parts site.
