We're back at SeaWorld Orlando again for another Penguin Trek construction update and there's still tons of work happening around the site. The entrance area for the Antartica area of the park is getting some TLC, and theme work progresses for the roller coaster. Testing has either switched schedules to night runs or something has caused the ride to stop running recently while the park is in operation. We also stopped by Wild Artic, which recently has gotten a lot of buzz about being the new location for a 2025 attraction & more in this new update!

For some reason they said it was opening Spring 2024. Maybe it will open in the summer? I stupidly made plans and went a few weeks ago thinking it would be ready.@troyyeagley7028

10:42 They really need some FLAT RIDES. I mean, a drop tower, a swing ride, a disco, a frisbee etc. Needs something to spread people out and diversify the rides.

The poles on the brake run are for Camera's, look at Mako's lift hill/MCBR, and Pipeline's launch but not brake run weird enough.

Seaworld needs to do some kind of update. People coming to ride it need to know something so they ain't too many disappointed guests coming. Was originally scheduled to open this month

So those poles on the break run those are for where they put on the cctv cameras or speakers on them just incase of when the people are stuck so like iron gwazi lift hill for example

An AR-augmented ride like the upcoming Mario Kart ride in Universal Studios would be ideal for that space, but there may not be enough room in the building for something like that. Maybe a flying ride instead?

Sea World used to be such a pretty park. Now it is just a mess of twisted roller coaster tracks. I guess you have to change with the times. Such a shame. I will always love the old Sea World.

It's still a pretty park what you mean? Can't handle rollercoasters? Animal Kingdom is the solution if you're in Orlando. Or Busch Gardens Tampa, but that's similar to Sea World between animals and rollercoasters

Blackfish and animal activists are to blame. They had to change the identity of their parks as people's views on animal captivity changed leading animal lovers to stop going and seaworld chose to bring a new demographic with rides.

@SlushysSecret I know this this. Unless you're being sarcastic here I gave the original comment an alternative to seeing animals out there. Did you know Sea World also changed it's corporate name? Or that Cedar Fair declined the buyout offer from Sea World? If you're gonna comment something "smart" think about why you're even commenting.
