But also look at what and who you choose and how you behave. Marriage for many women has turned into a way to get a grand lifestyle. It has become synonymous with living in expensive neighborhoods, eating at fancy restaurants, wearing designer clothes etc.. That's not the lifestyle our grandmothers sought. True enough some men gave in to their temptations and went outside their marriage. And I'm not absolving that. But even with that, in most marriages you still saw two people that truly loved each other, even while not having a lot of money. And that's why I believe their marriages lasted and were more fulfilling. Now it's more about showing you are some power couple by trying to show up others on social media. And many men play into that stuff out of their own ego until that financial pressure mounts. Then you have jaded men who feel like they were used and bitter women who are mad the luxury ride is over.
