HOW DID YOU FORGET THE CLASSIC "Lag If Gay" bug where EVERYONE has a 100% chance to lag at the very beginning room of spawning onto Oryx lmao

Symbols are carved into them, serving as instructions on how to perform rituals involving brief disruptions in the space-time continuum, usually for about ten minutes."

I love how when Deca makes a bug that hurts the playerbase, they take a while to fix it, whereas if it's a bug that can be used to the player's advantage, it's gone soon and players are banned quickly.

When Health Potion/Mana Potion slots were first released, you could change the item reference number of the health/mana pots to any item in the game using a tool like cheat engine and buy it for the same price as the potions (5gold I think). People were buying Admin swords, crowns, UTs, you name it.

One that wasn't mentioned, right after a new season was released a few months ago, every boss that could drop an egg, dropped 1 of every tier of egg, including legendary. They shut the game down and fixed it less than 30 minutes after but players were allowed to keep their legendary eggs. super game breaking 😂

Last I checked, asking the realmeye about the golden dagger actually references the bug. I can't remember the exact phrase, but it was something about it once having "tremendous power" to "destroy entire realms"

I get the literal chills when I hear the name “Ice Tomb Massacre”. It makes me feel like it was an actual traumatizing even in history. I wasn’t there when it happened, but I was playing at the time. I didn’t play for a week in fear of losing characters.

There was a fun one that never got mentioned. It wasn't a very well known bug and very little was documented of it. Years ago, probably only about a month after DECA took over the game, there was a bug in the old version of the shatters that completely removed the ability to nexus. It was only around for about a couple days or so, but when you hit your nexus key, an error would pop up with the phrase "You cannot escape from this dungeon."

There was a bug when avatar was released a fair bit ago that caused some of his shots to be stacked while only appearing as a single shot. This would one shot you on most characters, very fucked hahahaha

The fact ive seen all of these minus the 3 oldest massacres even though ive only been playing for 4 years says a lot about decas competence

When i think of massacres. Swatsec comes to my mind lol. But for bugs that random instakill thing was crazy. Happened to me during that time to but I never record gameplay.

You forgot to say about the Nexus massacre when suddenly O2 appeared in Nexus and killed tens or even hundreds of characters. Maybe it's not the largest massacre but IMO the most cruel. P.S. maybe it happened earlier than 8 years ago, not sure, I didn't saw it by myself, only on replays

ahhhhh, I remember on that fine day, on one of the month of the mad gods, where the event dungeon was a 4 part boss rush, the last one being the decaract. And it was the most violent ravaging of a lag spike-fisting I've witnessed 80 people take in my entire life

ps: avoid going in ruins cactus room with the spider roll. i got instakilled 8/8 by like 50 red spider spawning at once.

Around *2013* there was an bug that god "patched" without really being noticed by WildShadow, it was an drop item bug, where you could use an specific order of item dropping within your inv and anything on the ground to "generate" another item, as if the item ID was being changed with just that, it lasted for i think a month, was actually hard to do, but you could for example transform an HP pot in literally t12 items (at the time were called tops) or even rare whites such as Cbow (which at the time Cbow was pretty much the best bow in the game). I think this one was the biggest L glitch, i confess using it once to get a t8 Golden bow, but i died in 3 minutes to a friggin medusa >:C

There was a time you could Disconnect the entire Nexus, I did it with a vanity weapon for archer, some fishing Rod that was steam exclusive, then use cheat engines speed Hack and just shoot until every one Disconnect from memory leak

Gonna be a wall of text but tl;dr at the bottom First one that comes to mind was the SwatSec incident, Back before we had realmeye, Wildshadow used to have a forum where people would buy things in bulk or just chat about the game. To go a lot more in depth about what happened, One day a guy by the name "swatsec" managed to get everyone's login information including one of the devs and went onto the game and started spawning things and killing anyone that spawned in the nexus, It was during downtime so many players lost their items and it went on for hours. Eventually the game went down but when players tried to log in, They were met with a ransom note on a white page stating that they wanted ($2000?) for the source code (can't remember the amount) and the game was down for a few days. I'm not sure if anyone has photos of the incident but it was a pretty big deal. A few months or so later me and some friends met a guy claiming to be swatsec and we chalked it up to being a random dude, Until he came to nexus on a fresh level 1 account and started spamming keys to all types of dungeons. He would literally get on and ask "yo guys, trying to run some dungeons?" and just make a fresh new level 1 and max out the pet and just start spamming keys. The account would get banned 24 hours later but we'd just literally do that all day. Either he was swatsec or he was just some random guy who knew about a buy exploit. So that's why there's a reason people need to be 10 stars to buy keys in nexus. Same goes for trading before realm closing, Lots of dupes happened because of that. Tl;dr, Guy named swatsec held the game offline for a few days and managed to get a dev's account and kill many people off.

Bugs are one of the reasons why I have not opened the game in a few days (not even for logins) and probably will not open the game for the foreseeable future. I love realm but god damn do I hate bugs

Damn this is so hype im so mad because recently i havent been able to get some stuff back from the vault bug which makes me very mad because i lost a very rare og item called Elixir of life which is SB and i checked to see if it was still there one day and it had disappeared off the face of the earth 😢

anyone else get logged out and told your password is incorrect and then the reset password email never comes through so you have to submit a ticket and when you get the manual password reset the temporary password is still "incorrect" ?

I've lost the Seasonal Apple of Extreme Maxening to the vault bug like a week ago. Ever since that it made me stop playing the game because after all the grind of making an 8/8 character my gift just disappears to a vault bug. It was also my first 8/8 too so it took me a lot of time, so now I just felt like all my hard work has gone to drain. I wasn't recording either.

I've been playing for all these bugs and somehow I still stick around to play lmaooo

Some days ago i have duped my skin,so i used him and got dced at the same time, but when i relized that i have that skin on my wardrobe i was shoked cause i have it on my vault too I still have it and this skin is tradeble Pov: realmeye cant see this skin and he said that im with a deafult skin. Even tho realmeye is cracked now, nobody cant see theres recent deaths.

idk if this counts but what i remember when the game was pretty early on was the swatsec and later swatsechasU stuff, spawning oryx2 in the nexus and hacking the servers. that, and cheatengine exploit, where people could get admin items near halloween when kabam took over. idk if these count tho.

What about all of the drop table bugs? There have been numerous occasions when DECA messed up loot tables and either everything dropped or nothing dropped lel.

O2 slingshot bug got me a few times

Most destructive bug is duping. Completely changed the economy of the game, when it went public you couldnt even play the game because servers were constantly crashing. At one point they made every single item soulbound for weeks so your inventory and chest was just overflowing with pots and loot. The invisible shot/black cat bug also occured in i think 2013 and killed a lot of people. The 10 minute dc was extremely annoying and persistent, and could also rarely cause you to die. This happened to me loading into a spider den with a doom bow archer when that was a good character. an annoying bug was on flash you could get items stuck floating over the ui sometimes blocking you from picking up items until you restart the game the memory leak causing you to restart your flash client every 20 minutes or have a higher chance of dying to lag But the no1 destructive bug was when the davy keys ui would stay on your flash client after doing a davy until you restarted the game.

the worst bug in my time was when a dupe method went public, and EVERYONE WAS duping soo much that was the reason uts became untradable,

The last bug was the most damaging one for me, having over 1100 items in vault.. deca's servers cannot handle that many items in each player's vault, so it seems like theyr'e trying to get rid of items over time it feels like.

Typically the 5th inventory slot will glitch Whatever item I have in it. Making it so that I can't use the item that's there when I go to put it on my character. Anyone else experience this one

I remember the moment where realm got hacked. Many oryx spawn in nexus and kill everyone. If you die they compensate with 1 char slot. I dont remember if it is in kabam or wildshadow era
