If BMW did their cashmere seats anything like the Japanese do in the Toyota Century they will be fine, Toyota has been doing that for decades. It's just sad that BMW is doubling down on that heinous styling. On the other hand it's nice that BMW is starting to give Mercedes a run for their money in the tech department.

Interesting vehicle if you like all the latest gadgets and gizmos and i'm sure it will be great to drive , like others are saying the design is truly terrible all round but their suv's and crossovers are even worse , it definitely stands out for all the wrong reasons , i noticed the price has gone up over 2k before it even launched to 110k , no doubt it will sell well in their biggest market were ugly cars are abundant !.

I'm not really feeling it. This is the first 7 series that just doesn't look classy from the outside, and many of the design choices on the interior are questionable at best. I feel like we also crossed a threshold where too much of these cars is designed by computers and it's getting real obvious. I have the same qualms about the W223, but I like that more than this. On a more positive note, I've noticed that prices of G11's and W222 have dropped a lot since the successors came out. Might think about snatching a post-facelifted G11 or W222 for not that much in three years or so.

The interior is stunning it looks like a concept car. However the exterior styling is terrible, the proportions are all wrong and I don't understand why the grill is so big it needs to be 70% smaller.

For somone as small as you Seb, everything looks big and spacious, probably useful for your Chinese followers, for a 1m97 follower it does not look very spacious in the back

I wish BMW would stop designing cars driven by the Chinese Market - hence that awful grill. Also the wheels look far too small for the size of the car. The lines of the car look out of proportion - especially looking at the front wings. It's a shame because the tech. I'm sure is great but for me design is everything and a car looking ugly on the outside just ruins the rest of it.
