She's a good actress before Twilight. I never watched those movies but I've seen Panic Room which was way before Twilight and she could act there. Accdg to some people Kristen acted her character in Twilight as what's written in the book, a blank canvass that readers can project upon.

Karen Byrd By « perfecting her art while no one was watching » I meant doing independent movies that aren’t mainstream but sometimes requires more precision in acting. She detached herself from all the Twilight media and criticism and came back better, something that not everyone can do. And I feel like she’s grown since then and really worked are and she is deserving who her career because she worked hard.

I stayed on her trail around the time Clouds of Sils Maria came out. Camp X-Ray was one of her best movies that not a soul has seen because they like to say she can't act just because they didn't like the Twilight movies. She won the French equivalent of an Academy Award. Wake up people. Kristen is and always has been fucking amazing.

Loved her in The Runaways and Speak as well. I mean if people go back and read Twilight , you can see Bella isn’t really a character anyway. It’s so the reader can imagine themselves in that role. That’s how she played her.
